Went out after less than four years. Not worth it

I’ve had this tv for a little less than four years and it’s already gone completely out. The picture on it is absolutely amazing but for the price tag on this tv you should not have issues this quickly.

    Defective Panel

This TV has great ratings BUT a cautionary tale would be to pay attention to the bad ratings. In this case it was a great TV for 6 months and then the panel went bad and needs to be replaced. LG refuses to replace the TV because the part is not on back order. I have been told the part will be here in one week, I have been told it has shipped and will be here Thursday or Friday. It hasn’t shipped but will be shipped today. Oops, no, it didn’t get shipped but will be going out within 24 hours. I don’t care how good the picture is on this TV I will never buy an LG product again and will tell everyone I know not to either. I refuse to to deal with a company that does not stand behind their products. Other reviews mention the poor service from LG as well.

Amazing TV but short lifespan before it died on me

Absolutely loved this TV until today. I have had this set for just under 3 years with light day to day use and it completely died on me today. I spoke with LG support who said it was out of warranty and my Geek Squad protection expired last December, so I am out of luck. I was really hoping to get at least 5 years out of it. Incredible TV while it lasted which is why I'm so utterly disappointed that it had such a short life. Poor ratings due to the short lifespan and not the image quality (which was amazing).

LG refused to replace the TV and forced us to wait over over a month for a technician to diagnose the issue at my house and order a new panel. I hope LG is reading this because I will never purchase another LG product.

    Audio problems

After 5 months I no longer had sound when playing a DVD. I bought a new DVD player and had the same problem. Found lots on Google with same complaint. After many hours on phone with LG and following all their tests I am told that this is a known issue and I need to wait for a firmware update. That finally came on Dec12. Problem not fixed. I called again on 1/12. Long wait to transfer to proper dept. Tole the firmware update did not work and they have no ETA. I asked for a replacement and was told it affected all the 2017 TV's and the 2018's were not out but that they would not replace my TV Really irritating . Nice warranty LG!

Disappointed in LG quality - Screen Burn 3yrs in

Got screen burn less than 3 years of owning this TV and highly disappointed about that (i.e. several burned in streaks and blocks). Only use this TV for moderate video game use, YoutubeTV, and a movie here and there. Dissapointed LG and BestBuy don't sell a quality product that lasts. If you are looking for a long term TV, I would advise avoiding OLEDs and be safe with LED TVs.

    Literally Garbage

This television worked okay for a year or two now it's a headache. It is incapable of remaining online. It drops the wifi connection constantly and does not store the password. You can be in the middle of watching a movie and it will freeze. The wifi connection will be lost and when you attempt to get it back, there's a message that the password is needed. It is a total pain. Have no choice but to purchase a streaming device to connect to this supposed smart tv, which is really just a dumb monitor.

Didnt notice it at first but when I tried out the Dolby Vision On my 65 B7 I saw this fine vertical line down my TV right side about 8" from right. Anyone else getting this? Or did I get a lemon?

LG Never Again. Best Buy Never Again.

TV lasted 3 years, then the screen began to fail. It is now FUBAR. Naturally, LG warranty had expired. 80% of the screen has a visible green ghost like tint across it, which causes all colors to distort into a viewing nightmare.
