I bought the washer and dryer as a set and the doors do not match. One is shiny chrome and the other matte finish. Lots of options on settings.

The dishwasher runs for a long time and far too often doesn't clean all the dishes. We constantly have to run it twice to clean silverware

From what I hear (this was a gift to my son's family) they LOOOOOVE it!!!

REPLACED A 20 YEAR OLD DRYER WITH THIS LG, SO FAR SO GOOD

I really like this dryer, it is large enough to dry a large comforter and makes sure it is really dry no wet spots.

I am not happy with the way my permanent press clothes are when the cycle is done. They are wrinkled, not anything like my old cheap dryer. They came out of it looking like they were ironed. Since this cost at least twice as much, I thought it would be much better..It's not!

The LG Appliance is excellent. This is what we expected. LG products have never disappointed.

This dryer worked fine when first installed, but after one month, it quit. All the fancy lights come on but nothing happens. Customer service was not very helpful. The first service appointment is one month from the date we struggled through the customer service call. A month of hauling our stuff to the laundry, after paying for this machine is not making me happy. Last dryer went for 20yrs, go figure!!

Very happy with new LG dryer after first ten loads. It has large capacity so I can dry two loads of sheets/towels/clothes at once, saving electricity and time. A lot of settings options aren't that intuitive compared to old dryer, but I've figured out a couple quick settings that work for our needs. I wish the LG washing machine I bought (a High In-Efficiency top-load unit) was as great as the dryer. I use the flat top of the unit for folding dried laundry, so it works well in my laundry closet space - if I had the storage drawer riser, I'd lose that functionality.

8 year old GE dryer died. Review groups/sites all highly rated LG on features and repair history. Liked features and rating on this model. Best Buy had lowest price.

I brought my washer and dryer from Best Buy in 12/31/2010. It was recommended by a friend. My washer stopped to pump water out after 18 months. Called customer service, they were little help as the automatic diagnose button give them little information(so the automatic diagnose over phone is useless). Finally the contracted appliance service came and found out that the power connection to the pump became disconnected (poor quality), I had spend 100 dollar to repair. Now my dyer (only 3 years old) stop working. Of course the customer service was no help at all. The appliance service came today. I was told that the motor is dead. I said that the motor should lasted much long than 3 years. He said: you are just unlucky ! Why do I have to be lucky to buy a new product! Where is the company's quality control!
