Doesn't Provide the Advanced Functionality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read the reviews before purchasing this dryer. So I guess I was forewarned. However, I want to emphasize this dryer does not do what it says. So paying the extra money for the functionality it says it gives won't pan out for you. Is it a big dryer, yes. Does it dry your things when you use the timed dry, yes. If you use the other dryer cycles, which are the bulk of the cycles your laundry can and most likely will be damp still. Case in point...two fleece blankets went in and I set them (since they are exactly the same weight and type of fabric) to the cotton dry mode. Less than 5 minutes (literally less than) the dryer timer goes off (which is a pleasant tone) and says they are dry. Ummm, no, they are not. So I set them to the timed dry. Yes, they will get dry but if you think you are getting the functionality that saves you energy hence money, you will be disappointed. 9 times out of 10 this machine turns off with your laundry still wet. I personally would not recommend this dryer to a friend. Yes, it does dry things but your paying for advanced functionality you are definitely not getting. Shame on LG.

Not bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only reason I just replaced this dryer because I was not satisfied with the accompanying washer. The dryer could take longer than most standards but it is not too bad once you find the right setting. It makes a cute sound when the dryer is done.

Kind of Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this gas dryer to go with my new LG washer. Used the sensor dry options and have had to run the dryer longer every time as the clothes are still damp. End up using the timed manual dry for longer time.
