This dryer was right next to the washers I wanted.

Very large capacity for exactly the space we had!!

$ 380.00 good price for new dry with two little scratches.

Somewhat loud during spin cycle / too many wash cycle options for us / takes a lot longer than our old machine / Tub is big - not any issues with capacity. sill leaves some sorta residue when I wash my exercise clothes. Guess I expected more

The dryer arrived on time but the door opening that we specified when we purchased it was on the wrong side and the driver wouldn't fix it so we had to wait for the Geek squad to come out.

This dryer is VERY NOISY. None of the "automatic" dryer settings adequately dry the clothes. The dryer is supposed to have a setting that detects when the clothes are dry: but it ALWAYS underestimates, and the clothes are ALWAYS still damp when the dryer shuts off. The ONLY setting that adequately dries the clothes is the "Speed dry" setting, where we manually enter a dry time (50-60 min). The only good thing about it is the dual-open door and sturdy lint filter.

The light stays on when door is open. Should be able to turn light off and leave door open.

I see some scratches and black spots inside the dryer after 3-month use.

I bought this dryer along with the matching washer. This was an upgrade from my 20 year old machines. This dryer works very well. Very quiet and simple to use. The sensor drying works very well. I see some comments about it takes a long time to dry or it doesn't heat even when on high. I'm pretty sure those issues are due to the dryer being in economy mode. Economy mode air dries before starting the heat and then alternates between heat and air dry. This adds time to the cycle. The normal sensor dry mode has economy mode selected by default. Just a quick tap of the economy mode button before starting the dryer shuts it off. If I'm drying a load that I have extra time, I'll use economy mode. Most of the time, I shut it off. I highly recommend thoroughly reading the manual. There is quite a bit more technology going on with these new HE washers and dryers. I have read the instructions a couple of times because I have missed a few things here and there. The connection to the app is awesome. I can look right on my phone and see how much time is left. It sends a push notification to my phone when cycle is complete. No more forgetting about the clothes and coming back to cool, wrinkled clothes. I highly recommend this dryer along with the matching washer.

Returned and bought another item because it came damaged

The worst dryer I've ever had! It doesn't dry the clothes, you have to dry it multiple times and even then it's not dry. I had a specialist come and check out the dryer, he said there's nothing wrong with it. On top of that it keeps stopping giving me an error message for no reason. I never overload this dryer!

To much to remember just to dry your clothes. Would not buy it again.

Honestly created an account just to review this dryer. It does DRY your clothes eventually, so 5/5 there. That is literally the only positive thing I have to say about this dryer. The main problems I have with it are as follows (and will hopefully prove helpful to you when you're researching a new dryer): 1. As stated above, I find this dryer totally overrated. As someone who researches any and all products extensively, I find it super frustrating that this was rated so highly. Not totally sure if all these positive reviews are legit. 2. The door opens two ways, which in theory is cool, but poorly executed. When you open the door "down", it partially opens I guess to create a chute to put the clothes into the dryer. It doesn't really work, as the clothes get stuck at the bottom of the door. Pointless feature. Overall makes opening the dryer trickier. I'd much rather the door to open down completely instead of to the side. 3. Dry time. My goodness, takes FOREVER. The directions say that bc of the sensors, you shouldn't dry a bulky item like a towel with t-shirts. That's not always practical and definitely wastes water. Even when I DO make sure all clothes are similar, they're almost always damp after at least an hour of dry time. I end up having to do "manual" dry for an hour and pick my own heat setting. Works fine that way but makes all the other settings a complete waste. Long story short, I'm renting a place and these are the washers and dryers we have. They are IN MY HOUSE and I still take my laundry to my parents house to not waste so much time.

This is the worst dryer I have ever owned. The only saving grace is that it does dry clothes eventually. The electronic controls are a nuisance. None of the presets are near what I need, so I have to set each load appropriately. It takes several minutes to set each load because the keypad is quite touchy and doesn't always cooperate. As for the presets, I don't understand how it saves energy when a load set on medium heat takes over an hour to dry, and it only took 40 minutes in my old dryer. I agree with other reviewers that sometimes a load has to go in 2x to be totally dry. The drop down feature on the door is also pretty worthless. I have struggled with this expensive dryer for over a year, and I regret not getting another Kenmore - turn the dial on the timer, set the temperature and push start!

Disappointed. I purchased in 8/17/2018 and it is no longer working/spinning ect. Requesting repair service. I thought a higher end dryer with smart technology would last longer than my other Whirlpool. Less is more.
