Before I begin, let me tell you that dryers do not come with electrical cords. This, I have been told, is because some homes have 3 prong electrical outlets, and some have 4 prong. More on this later... This dryer is AMAZING...it's one of the highest rated in it's price range (it was a bit over $600.) I LOVE that it has a BIG capacity, (it fit a comforter with NO problem... YEAH... no more schlepping it to the laundromat! ) but also that it has a dryer door that can be switched from opening to the Right to opening to the left. (of course, I will pay dearly for having my husband switch this, but, that's married life for ya! :) ). This dryer is beautiful and very quiet, so if you must have it in a living space, it's wonderful! The dryer has done an AMAZING job the past few days, and I will update in about 6 months to advise whether it is still doing such a great job! As for Best Buy... I love them... but I would have REALLY appreciated if the Salesman at Best Buy had told me that I needed to purchase an electrical cord for it... in which case I would have purchased one there... along with the hose I purchased for the washer (I actually had to tell the salesman I needed it. I asked him if I needed anything else for the dryer, and he said no.. WRONG!) I called and advised Customer Service dept of this, and they assured me that Best Buy is updating their computer system to include this issue. However, I did want to mention it here, so you don't have the same bad experience I had to endure... The installation guys could NOT hook it up with an old plug, which is understandable, but did NOT make either my husband or I happy... I had not intended on purchasing this dryer at Best Buy, I only went there to look at the floor model, as they were the only company around that actually stocked it... but their best price guarantee (they were already the lowest!), and their 18 month same as cash credit card, 10% off Geek Squad if you purchased more than one item, AND the wonderful history we have had with them giving my husband NO HASSLE when he had to use his extended warranties in the past, made this a no-brainer!

Constant problems, dryer always turns off and thus clothes are never fully dries. Waste of money.

Don't buy this LG shouldn't be manufacturing washers. Constant error code for load off balance. No warranty help or from Best Buy either.

We have had this dryer for almost 3 yrs and I have had to work on it 3 times already. No thanks LG.

The original dryer began to squeak (very annoyingly) just a day after installation and had to be replaced.

Our dryer stopped working, and we purchased this dryer to match our existing washing machine. After 3 weeks, I'm 100% satisfied. This is very easy to use, dries well, and runs very quiet. In addition, the Best Buy installers were polite, and completed the haul-away and installation very quickly.

I would have given this a different review up until yesterday when it malfunctioned. Glad I was home to notice it was still running even after it chimes and the display goes off. It doesn't turn off!!!! The blower stays on & the drum continues to turn. I have to turn off the circuit breaker to turn this off. The replacement board is about HALF the total cost of the dryer. I realize there is only a 1 year warranty on the product, but when you pay almost $600 for a dryer, you expect to get more than a year out of it.

The status of the dryer is "restricted air flow". The house is 4 years and I am the original owner. The vent dryer is a vertical run of 16 foot of pipe to the roof and has a 90 degree bend at the roof outlet and a 90 degree bend in the flexible metal connector from the dryer to the vent pipe. I have even cleaned the entire vent piping with very little lent in the piping yet the dryer still shows restricted. The manual states I am allowed several feet more of straight piping with only two 90 bends. The dryer will not run through a full dry cycle no matter if it is on auto or manual. The dryer is useless and I can not return it to Best Buy due to their policy change. A complete waste of money.

When my old Kenmore dryer died, I was in a panic. I had no way to dry my laundry. My uniforms were soaking wet. I went into my Best Buy store and priced a few dryers. The LG 7.3 CuFt caught my attention with its sleek and modern design. We made the purchase and had it delivered two days later. The buttons are located on the front of the dryer, making it so much easier to use for shorter folks like my mother. It dries everything perfectly and even plays a little jingle when the cycle is finished. This is a product that everyone should look at.

Love the huge drum and how quickly it dries. It is very quiet and does a perfect job of drying the items I throw in. Of you do need to select the correct setting. I have dried everything from heavy beach towells to dress shirts plus blue jeans and all came out perfect. You can't even hear the dryer when it runs. L.G. has done a great job on this dryer. The washer and dryer are very stylish in looks and very heavy duty. I plan on nothing but good from my new set. I did read the manuals from cover to cover before I did the first load. I love my set and all the bells and whistles included. After two years of putting it off because of bad reviews on the high energy stuff, i'm glad I took the chance and went for this set. Don't be afraid to try the newer style.

This is a great dryer. Dried my bedding faster than I expected. Very efficient on all loads. Very quiet.

Could not make the air vent blockage sensor happy so had to return.

Love my new LG DLE1101W electric dryer! It has a huge capacity, every setting I need, and dries my clothes very quickly. Controls are quite easy to use and you can modify any setting any way you wish. I paired it with the washer making my laundry room look pretty hip! Cool jingle at the end of cycle signals your load is done (another jingle at the beginning when you turn it on, too!) Best Buy price could not be beat anywhere online or in brick/mortar stores. TIP...buy the Best Buy connector kit as it's price is good as well, plus, you might be missing parts as was the kit I purchased at hardware store. The delivery guys had a kit in their truck as I was able to purchase with a credit card directly from them. How convenient was that!!

Got dryer and top load LG machines. This the best dryer that I have ever had. Large capacity. Can dry a full load from washer. My old dryer could not handle full load from front loader. LG products are way better than GE or Maytag. Easy to use control panel on front of machine. Can handle large loads. Quiet . Dry cloths quickly.
