Unit performs to expectation. However a lack of knowledge on the part of the Sales personnel created an issue when we attempted to install with right side venting.

Never owned a LG product before but would in the future.

When the old Kenmore washer that came with our house when we moved in 10 years ago finally died, we had to replace it. My wife and I bought a new LG high-efficiency top loader and decided to scrap our old dryer, too. We bought this beautiful LG dryer to match our new washer, and am I glad we did!! Our old electric dryer worked, but apparently it didn't work very well. After a cycle would finish, clothes would oftentimes still be a bit damp, and we'd have to run the dryer longer. This LG dryer is SOOO much better! I love all the cycle options and it's got a ton of room for large loads. It's also quiet, and the electronic controls--in the front, which is a big plus--are easy to use and intuitive. I'm very happy we chose to go with a gas dryer, too. Although a little more expensive initially, natural gas is much cheaper than electricity, so we'll end up saving money on our energy bill. My wife and I are completely in love with this dryer. We're so glad we took the plunge and bought it when we bought the matching LG washer. It's a joy to do laundry now!

disappointed cannot change preset cycles for heat. I do not agree with LG choices. clothes are not dry at the end of the sensor timing or if the load is dry the dryer continues to dry until time runs out defeating the sensor dry option

I look forward to doing laundry now. I would definitely recommend.

Had limited funds to spend and this unit exceeded my expectations

This is a great dryer. I love how it will adjust the time if it senses the load is dry or even needs more time. I have seen it add or subtract time. You don't have to be tech savvy to operate this dryer, but it helps. There are no knobs, and everything is push button. It is pretty simple to operate, but if you like to customize things, it can get a little annoying. Takes some fooling around with to learn what you can change (temperature etc.) when using the presets. Overall a great dryer! The whole "this thing has an app for your phone" is really overrated. The app is only if there is a problem with the dryer. It is NOT for controlling the dryer. The reviews on the app store for the apps make it not worth downloading too. That part really didn't work either. So don't get too excited about the app idea. (Just an FYI on that)

Great dryer, large capacity, sings a little song when it is done (for serious).

I'm very happy with this dryer. It's fast and gentle on my clothes. While I am very happy with the performance, I wish I had thought about the flat top versus control top when I ordered. Since the top is flat, the electric plug is visible - not that this is awful - I just hadn't thought about it.

It's nice to see how much time is left on the dryer. If I dry something on medium, it dries very quickly. Unfortunately, I like to dry most clothes on low to ensure they don't shrink, this takes a very long time.

Easy to set up, use, many features, intuitive to set. Works very well.

This dryer has many great settings and features. Performance-wise, it's good, but occasionally I will have to run a load a second time to get it completely dry.

Lousy PERM PRESS CYCLE. Clothes constantly wrinkled no matter how you try to adjust or compenstate the cycle. Very poor performance for the price and technology.

After 2 months, my dryer no longer works and LG cannot service for a week. It runs for about 5 minutes, then shuts down, The vent is clear. Not happy with this product.
