Buy another machine

I detest having to push so many buttons and settings to get the heat and time I want. The pre-programmed settings are worthless. The first time I used them, it took 3 hours to dry my load. The HIGH heat setting is not high at all. Everything takes at least 30-50% longer to dry than in my 30-year old Whirlpool dryer. I hate the side opening door. There is almost nothing to like about this machine except that eventually it will dry laundry.

Longevity is aweful

We have been having issues with it not dryer and now the barrel is cracked and its very loud. Sounds like the drum is smashing against the sides. Not a great product for longevity.

Is it that hard to get a dryer that actually dries

Up and down the basement stairs I go, 2, 3, or even 4 and 5 times to dry even a small load of clothing or towels. What a huge disappointment. This was a gift and I was and still am so thankful and grateful, but boy I expected at least a year or two without any problems. I haven't even had this for two months and I think I've lost one of those months just attempting to dry a few loads of clothes. Delivery was atrocious and they didn't even finish the job as was expected and promised. I spent time picking this out and tried to read reviews about who would be really helpful with delivery and customer service. Somehow I landed on Best Buy. I've never bought an appliance from Best Buy and I've never bought an LG appliance, and I can certainly say unless someone saves the day here by offering help, I won't be buying or using either one for anything in the future.

I just adore how the flow sensor has a mind of its own, deciding to take breaks and turn off randomly. Must be a masterpiece of overengineering, truly. I especially enjoy returning products for the sheer thrill of it. Highly recommended for those who enjoy a touch of chaos in their lives!

Two different machines did not work

The second one was sent when the first did not work. Both would turn on but the cycle would not start. I even had an electrician out to check that it was not my electrical system that was the problem. No, it was this dryer. I do not recommend it. Eventually went with a GE and am happy with it.

If you need it delivered don't buy from best buy!!

Expressed my concerns to best buy. Lots of lip service, no action. Will never spend another penny at this store!
