Dryer sheets in lint trap
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.[Employee of bestbuy] This dryer continues to suck the dryer sheets into the lint trap. This cannot be good! We are now avoiding dryer sheets in an effort to not have a fire!

Posted .Hi, Robert. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand how concerning it must be to have LG Dryer (DLE6100W) model, sheets being sucked into the lint trap, and we want to ensure you feel confident in the safety of your unit. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations.
As a first troubleshooting step, we recommend checking the vent and lint trap to ensure they are properly cleaned and free of any blockages. Sometimes, improper airflow can cause the dryer sheets to get caught in places they shouldn't. Additionally, make sure you're using the correct type of dryer sheets, as some may be more prone to getting caught in the lint trap or vent system. Good dryer - when it works
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It did its job well for 3 months of regular household use. Really easy to remove lint from filter. Since then it has stopped heating up. The "smart diagnostics" tool is quite frustrating to set up

Do NOT buy from Best Buy! Horrible company!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy is a horrible company! Ourchase from someone else! My dryer came to be malfunctioning. I spent money on getting vents cleaned (because that was supposedly the issue). And because it was more than 15 days, Best Buy won't help me now. Will never purchase from this company again!

Posted .Hi there. Thank you for bringing this to our attention regarding your LG DLE6100W dryer. We understand experience and that the issue persisted even after having the vents professionally cleaned. While external factors like vent blockage can sometimes cause performance issues, we understand how concerning it must be to deal with a malfunction right out of the box. You may access this link related to your concern:https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dryer-understanding-d90-and-d95-error-codes--20150209089448.
We recommend performing a Flow Sense™ indicator check—if the light is still on after cleaning, the dryer may need servicing or a deeper internal venting inspection. Please know that even if the retailer is unable to assist, we would still like to help. Send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport with your model and serial number, and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions and support options directly. We appreciate your patience as we work to make things right.

"Normal" dryness setting doesn't dry completely
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We replaced a washer and dryer that we believe dated from the late 1980s because the washer was getting flaky. Tne new LG dryer is disappointing in one respect: the "Normal" dryness level setting usually does not get the clothes completely dry. Areas that are bunched up, are still damp when the cycle ends.

Bad dryer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely terrible dryer. Avoid it at all costs. The sensor constantly shuts off in the middle of a load, making it unusable. The machine often leaves clothes damp and wrinkled. Customer service is useless; they scheduled a visit to check it out, but no one showed up. When I tried calling again, I was put on hold for over an hour and then disconnected. This has been a complete waste of money and time. Contacted LG through social media no one replied.

Posted .Hi, Bill. Thanks for sharing what happened with your LG Dryer (DLE6100W) model order, and we understand the importance of a smooth delivery experience—especially when you’re looking forward to receiving a new appliance. While the retailer manages delivery and scheduling, we’re here to support you with anything related to the product itself. Wouldn't dry our clothes
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dryer just would NOT dry our clothes. We bought for the sensor feature, but it would turn off long before the clothes would dry. We tried for a week and then gave up. A brand-new machine should work without any issue. Exchanged it for a Samsung (which we've had luck with in the past - and has been great!).

Posted .Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Dryer (DLE6100W) model. We understand your concern about a brand-new appliance doesn't perform as expected—especially when you're relying on features like the Sensor Dry to make laundry easier, not harder. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations.
Sensor Dry uses moisture and temperature sensors to detect when clothes are dry, but if load size, fabric type, or installation setup isn’t ideal, it may shut off too soon. For best results, we recommend loading similar fabric types together and avoiding small mixed loads. Also, ensure the lint filter and exhaust duct are completely clean and clear to allow full airflow. If the duct is even partially blocked, it can cause early cycle shutdowns.
We’re glad you found a solution that works for you, but if you'd like us to take a second look or assist with another LG product, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport. We’re here to help. ^Juvy

DO NOT BUY THIS DRYER!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the WORST dryer ever. If I could give it zero stars I would. The “Flow Sense” system is garbage and causes the dryer to turn off every 10 minutes. The duct has been cleaned out, the lint tray is empty and it still won’t stay on. It literally takes 2 days to dry one load of towels. DO NOT BUY!!!!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't waste your money. I ended up returning my set and exchanging for a samsung washer and dryer. The washer would leave anything bigger than a small load dripping wet and then I would have to run a dryer cycle 3-4 times to finally get the clothes dry. Seems to be an issue with the dryer sensor. Overall a terrible experience with this washer and dryer bundle.

Dryer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought brand new and I had to buy a power cord and a semi rigid duct piece for it then when it was past the 2 weeks when I tried it they wouldn’t return or exchange when it wasn’t working. Then it didn’t fit in my laundry room with the duct piece so even slight movement was so difficult and needed numerous repairs. Do not buy.
