Sensor Dry Doesn’t Work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sensor dry does not work with low heat and large loads. Either the exterior of the pile will be dry and the interior will still be wet or the whole pile will still be damp. This happens with every dry level. Never had this issue with my previous Maytag dryer. Everything else works fine though. Dries fine with normal heat and smaller loads, runs quiet, etc. Overall, if you have delicates, you’ll have to dry them in small loads or use timed dry.

To help ensure consistent results with sensor drying, we recommend avoiding overloading the drum to allow proper airflow and contact with the sensors. For mixed or bulky loads on low heat, ensuring the "Dry Level" is set to "Very Dry" can also help the sensors detect moisture in the center of the pile more effectively. New LG Dryer - We're happy with it!

It's easy to use, fairly quiet, works well, and has a pleasant little tune to tell you when the load is done.

Going all electric

We replaced a gas dryer. Easy to use. Quiet. The moisture sensing really works so the clothes come out dry usually in less time than the machine is set for.
