So the set I bought 5 years ago for a different house was superb and this one, after 2 months, is mostly annoying. Everything works on this set but it's the little things that will drive you crazy over time. The washer is so large and deep that emptying it is an ordeal, since it's too deep and my reach is not long enough to get to the bottom without straining (the unit is about 4" higher than my other one so falls above my waist). I owned a previous model and would have preferred that LG offer that smaller load and frame and something as simple as a dryer light since my current laundry room, with overhead lighting, is too dark to see into the dryer. The light was also handy to let me know I'd left the door ajar. It's possible that a higher model has this feature, but then the load levels for the washers keep going higher and higher and I didn't want this load level as it was. So overall, it only gets the average rating - this is more a problem with LG and how appliances are getting larger and larger. We don't ALL live in McMansions. Best Buy service was great.
