Don’t buy it!

It took three times to dry an average load of jeans or towels. So cheap and not well made at all. We upgraded and it’s so much better.

worst dryer ever

Service not done well

Washing Machine Doesn't Work Well

expensive dryer

LG dryer

Error and stops constantly

Doesn't dry

Super Speedy

It dries in one cycle, much quicker than any previous electric dryer we’ve had. The dryer we replaced would take three times as long. This dryer is also easy to use and quiet.

Poor Best Buy experience

The washing machine is great, but we’ve had such an awful Best Buy customer service experience. Our Dryer was installed incorrectly; after only 1 use it gave us the error code “d90” which means the duct work was done incorrectly. We’ve called Best Buy several times (4+ at this point) over the course of several days to have a “redo” performed and have someone from Best Buy come and fix the poor installation. Each time we’ve called we’ve been told they can’t process our request because the order status on their end looks to be “in transit”. We’ve been promised by several customer service reps that they would call us back and have someone come and fix the poor installation, but they’re empty promises. Such a terrible customer service experience, even after we bought the extended warranty for this product, it has been extremely difficult to have someone from Best Buy come and fix and incorrect installation for this dryer.

Doesn't last past 2 years

After owning the LG DLE7100w dryer for just two years, it is no longer working. The dryer is showing a TE1 error which, according to the manual, means it is a bad thermostor. I've replaced it with a new one and still getting the error. I called customer service and was told I needed to pay $100 just to have someone come out and tell me what I already know. However, calling the number they provided for service repair, I was told that the company does not service my area. I have not been able to do laundry for over a week using my fairly new $1000 dryer and no one at LG can help me fix the issue. I don't think I will ever buy an LG product again.

Junk

Noisy. Hate it.

We contacted LG. First they said to unplug it for 5 minutes so you can imagine how painful this process is. They suggest we use it for three days to see if the rollers will soften. My husband has to go outside while the dryer is running. I can’t believe how bad it is. DON’T BUY!
