    Do not buy unless you like a very irritating buzzing sound that LG says is "normal." I purchased this because a family member got the same dryer. Theirs is nearly silent. Mine buzzes. We checked level and jumped through all the other hoops. They talked to me like a child and explained dryers as if they're complicated or I haven't been using them for nearly fifty years. I had this delivered the week before I moved in. So the return period was up before I even had laundry to dry. Judging only how well it dries clothes: Clothes do not come out dry. The clothes are wet, not damp in spots. It's not just pants. Anything you put in will not be totally dry unless you run it longer in timed dry. The sensor will stop it on other cycles. Put the temp and dry level to max and still plan plan on running it longer. It runs plenty long for a normal dry cycle. I feel like one load of laundry takes half the day, and I still end up hanging half the clothes to dry fully.

We understand the importance of having a dryer that runs quietly and dries effectively. For the buzzing sound and the drying performance you’re seeing, one helpful step you can try is cleaning the moisture sensor bars inside the drum. If there’s any residue from fabric softener sheets or normal use, the sensors may read the load as dry too early, causing the cycle to stop before the clothes are actually dry. Gently wiping the bars with a soft cloth and a mild detergent, then drying them thoroughly, can help restore accurate readings.     No need to buy a new hose. It included a hose to exhaust the lint outside.the lint filter inside the dryer is easy to access, bring in and out, and easy to clean.

    Dryer is quiet and gets the job done. No problems with delivery and installation. Was also able to get a rebate with Dominion Energy for dryer being an Energy Star product so that was an added bonus.

    Works great and is quiet! Dries the clothes and has a cooling feature so the clothes aren’t super hot when you take them out. I used to run my old dryers at highest heat for best dry, but I can run this one at medium heat with the very dry setting and it does the job! I’ve had it for 2 months now and no problems!
