Posted .Hi, Courtney. Thank you for sharing your experience with us regarding your LG Dryer (DLE6100W) model. We understand your concern about the Sensor Dry feature doesn’t accurately detect the dryness of your clothes. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations.
One troubleshooting step we recommend is to clean the dryer’s sensor bars, which are usually located inside the drum. Over time, they can accumulate lint or fabric softener residue, which might interfere with their ability to sense moisture accurately. Gently wipe the sensor bars with a soft cloth and mild soap solution to ensure they’re functioning properly. Posted .Hi, Marissa. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your concern about your LG Dryer (DLE6100M) model, that stops heating, especially so soon after purchase. We’re glad to hear that you’re covered under warranty. We strive to provide high-quality products and exceptional services to ensure a smooth experience. A common cause for a dryer not heating could be a tripped thermal fuse or an issue with the heating element itself. Here’s a quick step you can try: Ensure the dryer is receiving adequate power by checking both the circuit breaker and the power cord connection. If the dryer is receiving power but not heating, this may indicate a fault within the heating system. A clogged vent or lint filter can sometimes cause the dryer to overheat and shut off the heating element as a safety measure. Make sure both are clear to ensure proper airflow. For more help, visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dryer-why-is-my-dryer-not-heating-not-drying-or-taking-a-long-time-drying--1432223739634. Since your dryer is under warranty, if these steps don’t resolve the issue, we recommend reaching out to our service team to schedule a repair. Please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport, and our team will assist you in scheduling service and ensure that the issue is taken care of. ^Juvy
