Dries clothes, most of the way.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sensor dry "technology", is not one they should be promoting. While I understand the concept of having a dryer only run as long as it's needed, if I use the sensor dry settings I end up running the dryer twice to complete the load. There doesn't appear to be a way to adjust the default sensor dry settings(temperature or time). Using the manual dry setting does allow for these adjustments. It takes additional steps and button pushing. For the price of this unit, the "technology" should work. I would not recommend this dryer.

Mediocre but it works
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works ok. "Normal" dry is rarely actually dry and ends up with damp clothes most of the time. The controls feel overly complicated, you have to turn it on and turn the dial every time and it doesn't stay set at the last setting.

Posted .Hi, Kev. Thank you for reaching out about your LG Dryer (DLE7150W) model. We understand the importance of having a dryer that runs efficiently from the start. Error d90 and d80 indicate that the dryer is sensing restricted airflow, which can happen when the vent is loose, improperly installed, or blocked. One helpful step—if you still have access to the setup—is to ensure the exhaust duct is fully secured to the dryer and that the vent path is clear and not kinked or crushed. Proper airflow is essential for the dryer to operate without triggering those codes. For more guidance, visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dryer-error-code-list--20152310891742. We’d like to take a closer look at your experience and assist you directly. Please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com so our team can help further. ^Juvy

Burns larger items
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have this for one year. It continues to burn our sheets and blankets by getting stuck in the lint collector. It leave large brown marks on sheets or any large item. Even if it's just a simple baby blanket. So frustrating that LG will do nothing to fix this big problem! Going to have to pay another $900 to replace it even though it's been doing this since we've had it.Should have called LG before the warranty expired.....but not sure anything would have been done anyway. Do not buy!

Posted .Hello there, CarolynB. We understand your inquiry about the DLE7150W electric dryer and want to help ensure it runs safely and effectively. You mentioned larger items—such as sheets, blankets, or baby blankets—are getting caught in the lint collector and developing brown marks. Let’s walk through a few steps that may resolve this issue:
Thoroughly Clean the Lint Filter and Housing: Even a small buildup of lint or debris inside the lint trap housing can catch the edge of a large item. After every load, remove the lint filter and inspect both sides. Once the filter is free of lint, shine a flashlight into the trap cavity to look for any residual fibers. Use a soft brush (or vacuum extension) to gently clear out any lint inside the housing before returning the filter. This helps large, lightweight items slide through the dryer drum without catching.
Check Venting and Airflow: Restricted airflow can cause items to linger on the lint screen longer than intended, increasing the chance they’ll blow onto the filter and scorch. Make sure your dryer vent duct (inside the wall) and exterior vent hood are clear of lint or obstructions. Disconnect the vent hose behind the dryer and clean it with a vacuum or a long flex brush. Also confirm the duct runs are as straight and short as possible—excessive bends or length can trap lint and reduce drying efficiency.
Optimize Loading and Settings for Large Items: When drying bulky items, try drying sheets or blankets one at a time or with only a small load of similarly sized items. Lay them as flat as possible in the drum, ensuring they’re not bunched up around the lint filter. Choose the “Bulky/Large Item” or “Bedding” cycle (if available) on your DLE7150W, and avoid the “High Heat” setting. Instead, select “Sensor Dry” at a medium-temperature level—this prevents extreme heat buildup that can contribute to scorching.
Inspect the Lint Filter Frame and Door Seal: Over time, the lint filter frame can warp slightly, allowing edges of fabric to be caught. Remove the lint screen and check the filter’s plastic frame for cracks or bending. Also look at the door seal for any protrusions or sharp spots that might snag thin fabric. If you notice any damage, your dryer may need a replacement lint filter or seal—something we can help arrange.
Because your dryer has been giving you trouble from day one, we want to make sure there isn’t an underlying part issue (such as a warped filter housing or misaligned blower fan) that’s causing fabric to repeatedly catch. Please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport so our team can gather additional details—like your purchase date, installation environment, and photos of any visible marks or catches—and coordinate a technician visit if needed.

Very disappointed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was disappointed that the delivery guy wouldn’t change the door to the other side as we had ordered it per the instructions. So we were forced to order another dryer that a door came down in the front. This dryer works well.

LH Quality Control issues. Do not buy!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG Dryer stared making creaking snapping sound after using it once. If you move/touch the dryer it something is loose inside hitting against the left side panel. All you have to do is touch the panel for setting and the pressure touch the panel make a ding creaking sound. I had trouble with the LG washer that I bought with it where the discharge water hose had perforations making it discharge water hose leak and spray water. That was found when the installers check the operation. I would not buy an LG product . Junk for the money and Quality Control isses

Posted .Hi, John. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand your concern about a new appliance, like your LG Dryer (DLE7150W) model, starts making unexpected sounds right away. We strive to provide high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations. First, we recommend checking the dryer’s drum to ensure it’s properly aligned and that no items are obstructing or caught within the drum. Also, ensure that the dryer is placed on a level surface, as uneven placement could sometimes lead to odd noises.
