    Don't Buy unless you have a very short vent

    The unit comes with a "FlowSense" built internally, which we were told was an add per EPA guidelines; the feature is meant to detect blocks/lint in the vent system; since our house vents to the roof, we could never get the unit to run more than 10 minutes at a time without shutting down; even called LG, and they wanted us to either re-vent our house or buy an expensive ($300-$400, excluding labor) after-market part that would have been installed in our attic to assist in venting - I assume that means the dryer itself can "sense" how hard it is pumping to the vent

    Look at my order date! November 29. I waited 6 weeks already for this delivery! Delivery was supposed to be today but drivers said the dryer was damaged and their office would call me in 10 minutes and let me know when the dryer would get to me. I waited 5 hours and tried calling the delivery company many times but got nowhere. Now I have to wait until January 29 for the dryer???? I am completely disgusted with service from BestBuy and will probably never buy a thing from you again. Ridiculous service. Absolutely ridiculous.

    Not so dry

    When I run this dryer on the normal cycle once it’s finished I find my clothes are not completely dry and I need to run it a second time to completely dry my clothes.

    All I have to say is that it has no light. I have never had a dryer with no light and that's a huge deal did me.

    Not reliable, Not smart diags, ThinQ app terrible

    Lasted 10 days before it stopped drying. The unit would not go into drying mode and the cool light would stay on. Not messing around with another LG. Tried the Smart Diagnostics and that was a frustrating experience as well. this particular dryer is not a wifi unit and therefore the option to add to to the app is very hidden. I tried several times to add it and the app says its not supported, then kicks out out to the website. I finally figured out that you have to add it manually because its not a wifi dryer, its very hidden within the app at the bottom of the page. Once that was done the diagnostics said there was nothing wrong, what a joke. After all that I just returned the unit, it's not worth the hassle of an exchange to risk another unit dying in 10 days again.

    Sensor DOES NOT properly sense humidity

    It is impossible to dry clothes using any sensor option but Heavy Duty + Very Dry. I have a suspicion that there's a workaround to this that I don't know about.

    Nothing like my previous LG dryer. It's supposed to have a damp/dry sensor to add more time if clothes are still damp. Every load I've done, the clothes were still damp and a had to restart it. Waste of time and not energy efficient

    Seriously!! May never buy at Best Buy again!!

    The dryer I paid full sale price for is damaged on both sides. Paint is missing and someone put heavy duty white tape over it. There is no way the installers could not have seen this since they had to reverse the door. I was not asked to inspect it nor did I think I had too. It’s surprising I noticed the tape since it was closet to the right all. I just found the same issue on the other side of the dryer!!! Best Buy should be ashamed of this and should look for an installation company with integrity. I called the return exchange number to get this fixed. There is a lot more to this story and it’s all bad. I have photos and when they pick it up I will get better ones.

    The dryer was very dirty in really bad conditions, we sent back to the store, i couldn't do anything and check it out was unusable

    This should not be paired with the washer that it is with. The washer washes more than the dryer can handle. This dryer does not dry sheets well and everything twists and wrinkles when drying. I like LG but not this dryer, We had Best Buy bring a 2nd dryer out to us as we thought there was something wrong with it and it was the same. Plus the people who dropped off the dryer did not install it, even though we paid for it and they did not speak English. Customer service for Best Buy was very helpful

    Bad Experience With this Product

    I was sold a recommended vent with the new dryer- upon delivery installer said that vent would not fit so installed dryer to my old vent. Machine did not work properly on certain cycle - LG said it's a vent issue, Best Buy says it's the dryer. They came back with a different type of vent which did not fit and a new machine which came damaged. They also had the original vent type in the truck and tried that which did fit! So am now waiting for another new dryer to be delivered- am very unhappy with the way this has gone. A month after purchase still not in possession of a properly working dryer.

    I don’t what wrong with this dryer, I bought new brand and the dryer was cycling but not got heat I returned the first one and got the second one, the same thing finally, I returned both washer and dryer. My apartment unit vent is working properly and we measured electric voltage and it is working properly too.
