Really love this gas dryer! Very highly rated by Consumer Reports. It works very well. The dryer gets the clothes dry with minimal wrinkles. If i forget to take them out there is a refresh option that brings them back to a good place. It took a bit to get used to all of the settings, but I no longer miss my old Whirlpool. I would like a light in the drum, but the dryer is pretty great, even without the light. I had some difficulty finding a place to purchase the dryer and get it delivered within a week (holiday season and post-covid supply chain issues) but Best Buy really came through for me, giving a discount and free haul off of my dearly departed Whirlpool. So glad i decided to trust LG and Consumer Reports! When you spend this much on an appliance you want it to work well. I am looking forward to a long and happy life with this dryer!

Our dryer of 18 years finally conked out on us so we needed a new dryer quickly. We ordered this one and it was delivered in just a few days. It's simple to operate and does a very nice job. It took us a while to understand the settings but we've got it down now and are very happy.

Nothing spectacular. The things it’s missing imo are..being able to set it higher than 60 min, not having a countdown timer. I don’t feel that 60 minutes on high dries any of my full loads. I always restart it either in the middle or at the end. If I could set it higher than 60 minutes, I wouldn’t mind so much. The sensor dry setting is even worse. They are NEVER dry on Normal. I guess I should try heavy duty. But Normal “very” dry doesn’t do it for me. Otherwise, price was decent and it’s nice and quiet. Hoping I just need to get used to it or something.

Very nice Dryer for the money. It's only loud when applying heat, the flame sounds like a blow tourch. Overall very happy. Just wish it connected to the app to let is know when its done, or had the ability to change the sound it makes when done, so we can tell it apart from our lg washer. Also has more features and seems to be built more solid than the others we looked at for the price. Nice big drum bigger than our previous one, helps dry clothes better. Especially the lint trap and door catch. Oh, wish it had an interior light. We do miss that from our old one. Dont kneel on the top of it. Not that heavy of steel.

This dryer is a wonderful option. Definitely quiet. A great size. Washing & drying our king sized comforters at home is a game changer

Dryer was easy to install and works well. Dries clothes extremely fast. Large capacity and simple to use. The dryer is also very light and be moved around easily. Really love this dryer. Hope it lasts many years to come.

Perfect dryer. No stress, lots of room for different size loads and drys clothes on a simple 60 minute cycle. Like I said, Perfect choice.

This large capacity dryer is just what we needed to replace our old-fashioned dryer. It's so nice to have a reliable machine. I had a big load of bedding to wash this week, and the dryer handled it with no problem I love the sensor drying feature, which our old dryer did not have.

This LG dryer is a no-frills, gets-the-job-done kind of appliance. Smart features are very limited (just some basic troubleshooting, I believe), but that's alright. You get what you pay for. While my initial dryer had a fault with its heat sensors, the replacement unit has worked really well. Of the multiple dozens of uses I've had, I have only had to redry a(n admittedly very large) load once. Settings on it are very simple, just make sure to read the manual if you can't figure out why you can't change the heat level on certain settings (hint: it says 'Manual Dry' on some options for a reason). Make sure to clean the filter every dry cycle and you're good to go! Recommended if you're on a budget.

Works great. I love it. And its so easy to use. I like the little jungle when its done instead of an anoying beep.

Sooooo huge! That thing can fit 1.5 loads of what I could put into it! Things can go in wet but once it's done... dry as a bone but ready for the next load. It's quiet too... it won't wake the wife or kids up. So you can take care of the dirty laundry without disturbing your family!

This is a great machine. It does a good job. It seems to take a little bit longer to dry our clothes than our older machine, but that is probably because it can hold twice the amount of clothes.

I love this dryer, it is easy to use without all the extra tech that I never used with previous dryers. It is so quiet when in use - I can finally watch TV and take care of laundry at the same time. I would recommend this dryer for someone who is looking for easy to understand old fashioned dryer to get the job done without all the bells and whistles.

A quiet and simple to use dryer. Easy to install. Easy to use settings. Easy to clean the lint filter.

Big capacity, so even if I laundry clothes once a week, I'm still ok. I don't have to load multiple times because my dryer is able to handle tons clothes. I also like the sensor feature so I can run the cycle not based on time duration. The machine automatically stops when the clothes are dry and I appreciate that. The musical note towards the end to let me know that the cycle is done is something I enjoy. It reminds me of my stay in Japan, and the note is very similar to the one I had there.

This is an excellent dryer and I would recommend it! Perfect size and does a great job with drying bulky items.
