The dryer's fine - installation was TERRIBLE!!!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The dryer seems fine, but installation by Best Buy's Geek Squad was COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT! Instead of properly clamping the air vent to the back of the dryer, the installers taped it to the dryer, and the air vent quickly detached from the dryer, venting hot humid air and lint into my house. I had to wait 6 days for another appointment with Geek Squad to have the dryer installed properly. The 2nd installers properly clamped the air vent to the dryer but, in the process, crushed the air vent hose so that I wound up with a blockage in the hose and once again couldn't use the dryer. This is completely inexcusable, and I will never again use Best Buy for appliance installation or repair.

Not particularly impressed

READ REVIEW - buyer beware

LG referred us to Goodman Solutions, an authorized repair service, and they were HORRIBLE. Hands down the worst customer service experience ever. Will pay someone local to fix then donate the dryer to a non-profit and buy and simple, push-button dryer from a manufacturer other than LG.

Bad news

The first delivery said it was damaged and did not go on the truck. No one ever contacted us. We have called many many times no one returns our calls. We think it get straight still nothing!!!! I will let you what I think if I ever get the dryer. Can't get much worse.

Buy elsewheres

I have to deal with the manufacturer. This is why i will never buy from them again.

Defective

Poor service delivery

Broke less than a week in

I tried different plugs but my washer ran fine on the same plug. Dealing with BestBuy on this has been horrendous.

Sensor Dry Technology is a PLUS

Will never buy another LG product.

It stopped heating a month ago and I’ve been jumping through hoops to get their assigned repair company out to work on it. They’ve been here 3 times in the last month and I now find out theirs a manufacturer’s defect. I’ve been without a dryer during the holidays for a month because Lg wouldn’t allow their repair company to order more than one part at a time. I have felt completely hand cuffed by LG and there’s no one who is willing to help me. The poorest customer service I’ve ever experienced!
