I love it! It is a little more than a basic dryer. Has a few bells and whistles. Can't beat the price. Overall very pleased with it.

Having such a hard time with this dryer. Seems there is a glitch when I put the heavy duty setting on. It's stops mid way. I never can dry on one cycle. I feel the dryer that I replaced this for was better (even while broken). Not happy with this product.

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Dryer (DLG7001W) model. We understand your concern about dealing with a malfunction, especially when the Heavy Duty setting isn't working properly. We strive to provide high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations. Here are a couple of troubleshooting steps you can try: Ensure that the vent and exhaust duct aren’t clogged, as poor airflow can cause the dryer to stop early to prevent overheating. If the load is too large or unbalanced, it may cause the dryer to stop mid-cycle. Try reducing the load size or redistributing the items for a more even balance. Sometimes, performing a simple reset by unplugging the unit for a few minutes can help clear any glitches in the system. If the issue persists, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport. Our team will be more than happy to assist you with additional troubleshooting or arrange for a technician to take a closer look.

We’re here to ensure that you get the best performance from your dryer, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work through this. ^Juvy LG

Hi, Davhus. Thanks for sharing your experience with the LG Dryer (DLG6101W) model. We understand how important it is for your dryer to deliver consistent results—especially when it comes to fully drying your clothes.

If you ever encounter similar issues, we recommend checking the drying cycle settings and ensuring the Sensor Dry feature is properly calibrated. For heavier fabrics or mixed loads, using the Manual Dry or Timed Dry setting can help improve results. Also, make sure the lint filter and exhaust vent are clear to support optimal airflow. The flow sense sensor is extremely sensitive as a result the smallest amount of lint in the trap can trigger the safety shutoff

Hi, Carla. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We understand how important it is for your LG Dryer (DLG6101W) model to care for your clothes properly, and we want to help you get the best performance from it.

If you're seeing black marks or heat damage, we recommend checking the drum seals and lint filter area for any buildup or wear. A worn drum seal or trapped debris can cause friction and heat spots that may affect fabrics. Also, make sure the exhaust vent is clear and the dryer isn't overloaded, as restricted airflow can lead to overheating. Doesn’t dry clothes

Doesn’t dry the clothes Has a sensor that detects when clothing is “dry” and turns off automatically regardless of timer. I have to frequently check the clothes to make sure they are dry multiple times through one load. This item was returned. Not sure if I got a faulty dryer or if they’re all like this. Replaced for a Maytag Best Buy was very good with setting up a return and offering a repair but I chose to replace the dryer which was also very effectively set up
