Great dryer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great dryer. I like that it has a manual setting allowing me to set all the settings as I like them. You can also add extra time which I like. My clothes come out dry and if I get to them right away they are never wrinkled!

Good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This a great dryer, with different options to chose depending on what are you looking for when drying your clothes. It’s always tells when clothes are still kinda wet it adds by itself more time to dry them completely. Or can use manual as well.

LG Clothes Dryers Are Defective
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY LG CLOTHES DRYERS! We went through 2 defective dryers. Both would not dry clothes. A Best Buy serviceman said the moisture sensors were defective. Also, the installers of the 1st dryer did not turn the gas on completely and turned off the water to our washing machine which then failed to work. The Best Buy serviceman discovered this problems caused by Best Buy installers and charged us $99.99 and he said he would show in his report that Best Buy installers caused the problem and we could get this refunded. When we called Best Buy support they said they could not issue a refund as their system showed the job complete!!!! They said they will call the serviceman and have him reverse the job status and then issue a refund. Last, LG recommends getting their LGThinkQ app on your smartphone to diagnose problems. I did this, they required personal information to setup the app and then scan a QR on the dryer to begin diagnostics. However after I scanned the QR code, the app says this dryer was not in their system and was not supported so I couldn't find out what might be wrong!!!!! LG makes and sells junk and their app is a scam for your personal data so they can bury you with promotions. Best Buy installers are hacks. Best Buy support is helpful but limited to what they can do by a rigid system.

Posted .Hi, Michael Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand your concern about dealing with these ongoing issues with your LG Dryer (DLG7001W) model. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations. Regarding the moisture sensors, we can provide guidance on checking and calibrating them if needed. Sometimes, cleaning the moisture sensors with a soft cloth can help improve their accuracy. If that doesn't resolve the issue, we can explore other diagnostic steps to ensure your dryer is working properly. As for the installation issues, it sounds like there were some complications with the gas and water connections that were overlooked during the initial setup. We recommend contacting Best Buy customer service again at 888-237-8289 to address this concern directly, and our team can help clarify any specifics you might need when discussing the situation with them. Regarding the LG ThinQ app, while the app should be compatible with your dryer model, it's possible there may be an issue with the connection or setup. We can guide you through troubleshooting the app and ensuring it’s properly synced with your device. For quick help, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmAB7JlXevU. Horrible dryer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am so disappointed with this dryer. My first load took five cycles and clothes are still dampish! I am now trying to dry an average load of towels. They’re still damp. This is my third start on towels and hoping they dry. I have tried trouble shooting with AI help and nothing has helped. I will be returning this dryer to Best Buy. Worst purchase ever.

Posted .Hi, Rose. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with your LG Dryer (DLG7001W) model. We understand your concern about your laundry that isn’t drying properly, especially after multiple cycles. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations.
If the dryer is taking several attempts to dry a single load, we recommend checking that the exhaust vent is not kinked, blocked, or overly long, as restricted airflow is a common cause of damp loads. Also, ensure that you're using the correct dry cycle setting (such as "Heavy Duty" for towels), and try adjusting the dry level to "More Dry" for improved performance. Cleaning the lint filter and moisture sensors inside the drum can also help the unit detect dampness more accurately. Gas dryer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high expectations for this dryer but as it turned out the dryer is extremely loud so I had them bring me another one and that one was the same and also had a strange noise so I then replaced with a whirlpool dryer

Posted .Hi, Tina. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with the LG Dryer (DLG6101W) mdoel. We understand your concern about encountering loud operational noise even after a replacement. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations.
This unit is designed with a LoDecibel motor to minimize noise during operation. If the dryer is making unusually loud or strange sounds, it may be due to installation factors such as uneven flooring, improper venting, or items trapped in the drum baffles. In many cases, ensuring the unit is level and checking the exhaust duct for obstructions can significantly reduce noise levels.
