    Horrid install!

    The dryer is great. The install was horrible!! They did not use clamps on the hose connection to the back of the dryer. It kept getting very hot in the laundry room, so I pulled the dryer out to find it was not installed correctly. Luckily we did not have the house catch fire. Completely disappointed. I will not buy again from Best Buy regardless of the price or convenience!

    It is sad that a sales person who sold me the item told me the delivery would be until August 16. When I asked him why so long he told me due to the orders being long due too delivery drivers. It was until i called customer services and was told that was incorrect. I was told the item was out of stock and this is the reason for the delay. Not a happy customer :(

    Horrible Experience with Best Buy

    I ordered this washer and dryer set on 11/24 with a delivery date scheduled for 12/3 between 7am and 7pm. I sat through the entire delivery window then got a call that the truck had broken down and that my delivery would need to be rescheduled. I rescheduled for the following Sunday between 7am and 7pm. This delivery window also came and went with no contact from Best Buy or the delivery company. I called them only to find out that the dryer was now out of stock and would not be available for delivery until mid-February. The supervisor on the phone even suggested that "this item was never in stock, I don't know what gave you the impression that it was in stock when you ordered it". Then he stated he could get me a gift card for the inconvenience, but he cannot tell me the value of the gift card until after the washer/dryer are delivered. Since I bought it as a Black Friday deal I now will be forced to pay more if I cancel and go with a different company. At one point they offered to get me a different washer/dryer that was in stock. I suggested the upgraded version ($200 difference) that offered steam and was available in a similar colorway but they told me I'd need to pay the difference. Best Buy has been truly terrible to deal with as they don't care in the least that I've now unhooked and prepped my old washer/dryer for pickup twice and sat here waiting for deliveries that they had no intention of completing for a combined 24 HOURS.

    If you like consistent squealing noises…

    Started out okay. A few months in we started hearing a sound that can only be described as akin to a wet worn belt on a car; but instead of a quick squeal, it lasts the entire cycle. We had it fixed under warranty and a few months later ( and after the warranty ran out), it started up again. The dryer is barely two years old and it’s having issues drying a load now, along with the lovely squealing noise. Also, this is picky; but the door doesn’t stay open while loading/unloading. I’m constantly struggling with the door as I’m doing laundry. It’s a simple feature that drives me insane. For reference, we empty the lint trap after every load and have had our dryer exhaust cleaned regularly.

    Do not buy this dryer.

    I bought a new house and this dryer came new with it. Upon my first load the clothes came out damp. And then it would go from 45 minutes remaining to 5. I googled some things to do and it looks like I have to used the timed dry feature and set it at the highest most inefficient temps to get my clothes dry. This dryer has been an absolute pain and it is brand new.

    Worst dryer ever

    I was so excited to get this dryer but it’s been nothing but a problem. The sensor dry simply doesn’t work — my clothes always come out very wet and require multiple dries. As of tonight, the manual dry doesn’t work either — it won’t run on air dry for 30 minutes, it turns itself off after 2 min. Now the screen to select which setting is going off and on over and over. I’ve only had this for 1 month and it’s been a nonstop problem. I wish we’d kept our 10+ year old dryer.

    Horrible Dryer. Doesn't dry clothes all the way but the worst..It starting making this loud freight train noise while drying. I have had it less than a year and yes, it's still under warranty but dryers shouldn't have a shelf life less than a year. I actually got rid of a perfectly good dryer so it could "match" the washer which is even worse than the dryer. STAY AWAY FROM LG WASHERS AND DRYERS.

    Came without electric port and delivery people threw my dryer as if it was trash horrible service! Never again! Come on Best Buy that is no way to treat loyal customers!
