Got the bundle with matching washer. The cycles synch up so the loads typically finish at the same time. The front door opens two ways- side open and top open. The top open doesn’t lay down fully- useful for putting laundry in without clothes falling on floor but not convenient for unloading. Not really an issue since there is a side open option for unloading laundry.

I would say that it needs to be put on the heavy duty setting for drying because the clothes are still damp on the normal setting. Otherwise I love this dryer.

The only drying option that you can adjust the temperature is quick dry, this is not acceptable. I don't agree with the default temperature settings with the different drying options. Sometimes I have to clean the lint filter twice in one drying cycle. The wash is never dry on the first try. The lint filter does clean easily and the capacity is great. Very frustrated with this dryer. The comparable LG washer is OK as you can adjust the temperatures.

This model was designed with preset drying cycles to optimize fabric care and energy usage, which is why temperature adjustments are limited on certain cycles. However, for more control, we suggest using the “Manual Dry” cycles like Timed Dry or Quick Dry, where you can manually select your preferred temperature level—this is especially useful for items needing more specific heat settings.
If clothes are not drying fully on the first attempt, we recommend reducing load size, ensuring the exhaust duct is clear of buildup, and selecting a higher dryness level (such as “More Dry”) if not already doing so. Also, having to clean the lint filter more than once per cycle can sometimes indicate airflow restriction in the venting, so a quick inspection of the full duct system may improve overall drying performance. My last clothes dryer lasted 28 years and we sold it in good shape when we bought this LG dryer to match the LG washer. I hope this dryer last that long. It is easy to use and I have no problem. Nice size. The only confusing thing was the door which opens from the side and also from the top but from the top only opens half way - and that is the way it is made. I thought it opened all the way when I bought it - the salesperson should have explained the operation of the door better.
