If you have a pet (with hair), this dryer won't remove any of it from your clothes. They even have a "pet hair" filter for $100 because they know how awful it is - and even that doesn't help. If you have a pet, do not get this dryer. If you have no pets, its fine. They could have simplified all the options though.

For best performance, especially with pet hair, we recommend: Running an empty cycle with a damp towel to help collect loose hair from the drum.
Using the “Ultra Heat” or “Pet Care” cycle (if available) with proper sorting (fabrics that attract hair vs. not).
Cleaning the lint filter and exhaust vent regularly for optimal airflow. It took a day to notice it was scratched. Scratches very easily. Clothing item was heated by the back plate, left a permanent mark on my clothing, and the back plate it black as it looks like it burned. I can't say that this is the best dryer sadly. Dryer does have to be restarted at times to dry items fully.

First two times the drum made ominous metal on metal sounds. The third one they left makes a rhythmic sandpaper noise as the drum rotates. It's definitely louder than my older LG dryer (wish I had kept it, but was under the impression that this model would be an upgrade- it's not). But since this model is no longer in their inventory, I am told this is as good as it gets. Throw in the absolute debacle of BestBuy's horrendous process of customer service resolution and accountability, missing days from work for scheduled deliveries that didn't happen, having to drive to the store to get information about the situation, or waiting for promises for calls back that never occurred, repeated false info from their call center, missing personal time, and overall disappointing product in the end- it simply wasn't worth it. Just don't.
