We've owned this LG drier for over a month now and it's been great. Our laundry room is in the basement, so my wife really likes the "smart" feature that lets her know when the drier is done via the LG app, so that she doesn't have to make a trip downstairs needlessly. I swapped the door hardware, so the side hinge is on the left. This was a lot more complicated than I expected, since the manual covers multiple drier models, the instructions are shared, and the illustrations are sometimes a bit cryptic. It took me over an hour and a half. I reassembled it 5 times, and I still had 2 leftover screws, which I could never figure out where they went. I should have made a video of the disassembly, so I could have referred to it during the reassembly process.

Dryer is easy to use. I like being able to open the door two different ways. So far, I am very happy with the performance of this dryer!

my old dryer stopped working so i had to get a new one and pick this one! i love that i can open it like a normal door or open it from the top of the door especially since my laundry room doesnt have alot of space. also like that i can turn the sound down since the song is loud and my kid wakes up to any little noise

We had a lot of issues with our last dryer. Not drying and having to dry for hours to get the clothes dry. This LG has been so great, it drys fast and has programmable modes you can down load, it’s all controled by the LG app welcome to the 21st century. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase from Best Buy delivered and took the old dryer away.

Replaced a 22 y/o. Kenmore Elite Dryer because parts are hard to locate. I bought the matching LG 5.3 Cubic foot Washer both at Best Buy. Outstanding installations by Geek Squad. Had the dryer vents cleaned by another company. Additional warranty coverage by Total Tech that also covers my earlier purchases (Sony 77" OLED and 27" iMac.) The capacity is nice when doing large loads. A lot of features that I am still learning and the two options to open the door is great.

I love my new dryer! I bought the matching washing machine a year ago and absolutely love it! So, when my old dryer went out, I knew I was going to get the matching dryer. This dryer is wonderful! I love that I can choose a higher heat settings for things like bedding and towels. The dryer is so quite that I can't even hear it running. I would highly recommend it, as well as the washing machine!

Although this dryer offers a large interior capacity, it has a relatively small footprint so you don't feel like it's taking over the room. I haven't yet sat down with the manual and figured out all the many cycle options, but so far it works well and I got it from Best Buy at a great price. Also, a really cool feature of this dryer model is that you can open the door either sideways or from the top.
