I love this dryer. I bought it with the matching washer and it has been great. The AMAZING this about this that I didn't know about prior to buying is the TWO directions that the door opens. Frickin' genius!! I was a little frustrated at first when I realized the way my machines are arranged, that the dryer door opened the wrong way. (Washer is on the right and the door opens to the right- meaning that it opened away from the washer.) HOWEVER- the door also has a handle on top of the door and the door drops open, down. It makes loading the dryer INFINITELY easier! Love it!

Large capacity and quietness, all that I wanted. I love the color too. It has a number of different programs, but I find the dry time the best.

So happy with our new dryer. The door opens from the front top and the side so it's very convenient and easy to use. Highly recommend this dryer.

Awesome product dries the clothes very well lots of choices on the menu. Can dry a full size comforter with no problem

I have only have this dryer for a few weeks now but so far so good. I am coming from a fairly old dryer so to have one that now can dry everything in one load is great. It seems to be well built, its quiet and works well. Not sure about the need for the app because all it really does is tell you when its done. You can start it from the app but you have to put the dryer in the mode after every use and since I am already standing there loading I can just turn it on manually. I am happy with Best Buy's service as I bought the dryer on sale and then within a couple of weeks it went about $30 cheaper and they refunded me the difference. Can't beat that. I would say buy it. LG has a good reputation on their appliances and so far this doesn't disappoint.

This dryer was a replacement for a brand that we've always depended on for years. We selected this LG after carefully researching dryers. The installer gave us a quick overview of the dryer's operation, however, we had to refer to the manual to guide us when we were ready to actually use the dryer. Once we followed the getting started directions in the manual, we were very pleased with the ease of operation. Giving everyone else in the house a tutorial on its use was easy. This dryer dries your clothes really well and gives you a little tune when finished. We are very pleased with our purchase so far.

Quiet machine for sure. Double function door is nice. Couldn't find the kit to change to a side discharge, so I made my own but I'm a sheet metal worker by trade.

It's great.. quick to dry.. quiet.. let's u know when to check the lint trap. You can even change which way the door opens! How great is that!!

Purchased this dryer for a move, looks small but has lots of space for drying cloths. Sensor is great.

I spent over 2 months trying to get a new washer & dryer. When I found this one I was immediately excited that the door opens 2 ways. You can pull it out so that it opens just enough to drop your clothes in. The it opens sideways to get them out easily. Choices for drying are pretty straight forward. The only drawback for me is that the beautiful chimes letting me know my clothes are done is soft so I can't hear it upstairs. I intend to download the app because it's supposed to alert me via phone or my google mini. Which is very cool. Highly recommend!

This dryer is fantastic! Has many levels of drying and easy to use. I like the two options for the way the door opens.

so far so good. Its working great and very efficient. Takes 25 mins only to dry a load of clothes. And the best part, it opens up 2 different ways.

Dryer works as advertised. Clothes are dried in a reasonable amount of time. Controls ar eeasy to use.

I have gotten used to this dryer. I'm not used to having to sort my clothes according to fabrics to have them be dry. The "sensor" will tell you the clothes are dry, but your elastic waistbands on denim and your socks will still be damp. I have a real problem with their Wrinkle Care, which I called LG about. I was getting a moving symbol at the end of the cycle, which I didn't see in the book, and LG originally told me was Control Lock. They stupidly put two functions on the same button - touch once for Wrinkle Care - touch twice for Control Lock. The symbol looks like [ __ ] with a dash on top and bottom inbetween. A programmer called me and told me that was Wrinkle Care - but the clothes just lay there at the end for 5-6 minutes before they tumble for 12 seconds [I timed it] - and then lay there again for 5-6 minutes. That's ridiculous. So, when the cycle ends, I use timed drying on ultra-low so I can take out items and hang them up while the dryer keeps tumbling. If you open it while on Wrinkle Care, the cycle ends - useless. So different from my 15 yr old dryer I had previously. If there's anything that needed more drying, I can just up the temperature during that time I'm removing clothes that are dry. I have the matching washing machine, so I was reluctant to change the dryer to a different brand [I could wind up with a different problem and I just didn't want to be bothered.] I hope I don't live to regret that. So, I guess I've adapted to the dryer, rather than the opposite. I also use a baby monitor, so I can hear when the dryer ends. The chime is nice and melodious but you can only hear it if you're nearby. So all in all, I'm recommending this as long as you know what the problems are.
