Beware the flow sense

LG dryers apparently are extremely particular about air flow and even though I have cleaned my ducting and tried replacing the connection from the dryer to the wall twice I still get constant d80 warnings. Before you purchase this or any LG dryer I suggest reading up on these problems as there is no fix other than sending the unit back. This is a well-documented problem and LG will simply tell you to have a technician come out, have the ducting cleaned, or swap the unit out. This does not fix the problem which is the way the sensor is designed.

The only thing we wish it had was a classic “fluff” cycle that offered heat at the same time. There’s an air dry cycle that mostly achieves that, but without heat. Otherwise, this would get 5 stars from me. This model was highly recommended by the geek squad service tech that went above and beyond with us when considering repairing our older unit. He was extremely knowledge, and wasn’t offering any sales pitch in the process. He was just brutally honest about how and why this brand and model was quality.
