    The installers were on time as they estimated. They were very courteous and professional. This dryer, like the washer, was inspected in Home Depot store. I bought it from Best Buy, because they offer service after the sale. The LG has been great and exceeded expectations. It replaced a Kenmore dryer I purchased new in 1998. The technological advances since 1998 are amazing and very welcoming.

    So, this dryer threw me a curve ball. I opened the door via the handle on the top-middle, of the door... and it opened forward ~45 degrees. I thought: "not ideal" in a narrow laundry room. Someone pointed out that if you pull on the top-left of the door (no handle release) the door will swing open to the right like most dryers. Sweet! Best of both worlds.

    We had wanted a new washer - ended up purchasing the LG 8 cu. ft. from Best Buy. Right next to the washer was this dryer. We asked about it and our sales person told us all the great features and the fact it works with the LG washer. It knows what type of load was washed and will recommend the appropriate drying cycle. Both are great!
