Love my new dryer, works better than dryer I have purchased before. I have numerous choices to choose from on drying my clothes including steam. The door is reversible which makes it easier to transfer laundry from washer to the dryer.

We love this new dryer. The door opens down or sideways and can be swtiched to left or right swing. There is a water line connection for the steam feature. There is an AI dry feature. WiFi connection allows it communicate with the matching washer and alert your phone when it’s done. Lint trap is easy to clean. Best of all it dries clothes fast, efficient and quietly.

I love this dryer. The door opening from the top makes it easy to load from my top loading washer. It can dry a king size comforter. Smart feature notifications on smart watch. Can’t say enough about how great it is.

This dryer is so quiet that we don’t hear it running even with the laundry room doors are opened. The door opens two ways. From the top, it opens about 45 degree to allow you to load wet laundry into it so that things don’t accidentally fall onto the floor. It opens regularly from left or right side to unload. I love the many features it has and how it links up to the washer, so it knows to set the optimal setting to dry your laundry while operating as energy efficient as possible. If you’re one of those who likes buttons with every functions clearly shown, this dryer is not for you. Everything is touch screen and the solitary knob has an LED display menu for you to select the many functions.

It's a very good LG brand dryer. It has different drying settings for all types of laundry, such as bedding, quick drying, heavy loads, etc. It works well.

This dryer is awesome. All the extras you get to choose from in the settings. Weve already tried most of the different types of drying cycles. And weve already change the chime. The color is great too. Who wants a bori g white dryer right?

This washing machine does a good clean wash. It doesn't make too much noise and is a soap and energy saver. Very happy with my purchase!

So far it does an amazing job of washing. Auto detects load and auto dispenses detergent which i think its pretty cool. Can also control it from my phone how cool is that.

Don’t waste your money. After four months of purchase, part of the dryer inside changed color, and the door didn’t close easily. I called the company, and they sent a technician who didn’t seem to know anything. He wrote a report stating that there was nothing wrong with the dryer. I called the company again for an update, and they explained what had happened. I asked if the color change was normal, and they told me, ‘Yes, it is normal, and BestBuy should have informed you about this change.’ I was planning to get all my kitchen appliances from LG, but it seems LG is a company that doesn’t respect its clients.

Unit continues to remind me to empty lint trap even though it’s obvious or has already been done. Then it keeps sending notifications to the app or on the display that an upgrade is available. What is said upgrade? A new chime or a new display. Not a worthwhile update.

The plastic lid's crap, it cracks easily, and it's grey so you can't even see it. I've had my $2400+ set for six months, Best Buy says it's under warranty, but they claimed it's physical damage and won't cover it. PIECES OF PLASTIC JUST TOO OLD and breaking lg rep referred me to the manual to read the warranty. I can assure you there was no physical damage cause by only loading clothes – LG gets zero stars!

Prior to this purchase, we were using a predecessor, which performed admirably, for 13 years. Over time, the lint trap started to loss the felt, but never had an issue that caused a breakdown. The lint trap has been updated, which negates the concern of the same issue occurring. The new style requires the user to unclip it to fold down and then remove the lint, which is caught in multiple areas of screening instead of the one large area that is most commonly seen. I find this a hassle, as it takes longer to remove the lint, if even only by a few seconds. I have noticed that smaller items, most notably a pillowcase and the dryer sheets, have become lodged at the lower front of the drum. This occurred in the first few loads and I have not had a reoccurrence. The last thing needed is a dryer eating clothes. Use of AI mode has been successful once and a complete letdown once, which means it will never be used again. A load of mixed fabrics was put in and AI sensed it dry when it was still very wet. I’m more inclined to utilize timed dry, as I know the dryer will operate correctly. On a side note, we went in to our local Best Buy prior to purchase and I asked about the side discharge kit. The manager who assisted us attempted to look it up on his phone and, finding no results, said they don’t deal with that. I ended up contacting LG directly, ordered the kit, and installed it myself. If you are wondering, it does not require the drum be removed, which makes it a quick job. However, the removal of the side panel can be difficult, as it is welded in place more sturdily than required, making removal unpleasant. I will say, I was extremely unimpressed with the customer service, but have come to expect it from Gen Z. If it doesn’t exist in their phone, there is nothing they care to do about it. I recall former employees calling LG directly to ascertain whether or not an item could be ordered. Those were Baby Boomers and Gen Xers, and this is coming from an older Millenial. All that aside, the dryer operates well, but I have yet to hook up the steam feature.

High powered dryer gets a full load dried in about 35 to 40 minutes. Steam option is nice and the unit is very quiet. AI dry seems to have pretty accurate settings. Expensive, I got it on sale for 1k.

By far the nicest dryer I have ever owned! Our samsung dryer died and had to replace our set, and wish we have done so sooner! It has more settings so we can actually dry our clothes and bedding without shrinking them or having to dry them multiple times. Plus the easy open dryer door is honestly the best! The scratch resistant finish is also nice.
