Customers have good things to say about the large capacity, quiet operation, and convenient dual-opening door of this 7.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Electric Dryer. The steam feature and ease of use are also frequently praised, with many noting the dryer's excellent performance in getting clothes perfectly dry. While some customers found the price to be high and experienced challenges with the dryer light and Wi-Fi connectivity, the positive feedback on key features outweighs these concerns. Overall, the dryer receives high marks for its functionality and user-friendliness.

The only negative thing I have to say is the sensor that stops the dryer when it feels your clothes are dry is a bit off. Usually have to add more time but can always set the settings to a different mode. Love the steam option, hooks right up to the same washer hookup. Door opens to the side or downward which is a nice extra feature to have. Love this set!

The Best Buy tech had recommended this dryer due to a nice discounted price along with a matching washer! I was pleased and had them delivered and installed and works flawlessly! Highly recommended! Quiet fast efficient what more can you ask for? We do a lot of laundry and zero issues hasn’t skipped a beat!

My dryer is great. There is a large variety of settings to choose from. I live the fact that I have to options for opening the door side open or down. The fitted sheets don’t ball up and collect other pieces of clothing inside the pockets. The dry time is accurate as indicated by your selections. A nice bright light comes on when clothes are dry and a musical sound plays when cycle ends. The drop down door doesn’t go all the way down. You can’t use the beads to ad fragrance I use the dryer sheets or maybe I used to much the first time I might try again. This is a super product to but.

Well my really nice LG dryer went out on me so i had a choice to make(maintain a happy wife and a happy life quickly) or try and get it repaired!
Soooo i ran across an open box model of this for get this $805.00 Eureka!!!
The steam feature alone for freshening up a shirt or blouse is awesome! I went and purchased a waterhose kit to attach to the dryer for the steam functions, fabulous indeed!
Then the wifi feature to connect to your phone or smart watch tells you when your loads are done and the moisture sensor won't let your clothes cook lol!
I've even (gasp) started washing myself so i can get to use the smart features which makes for really happy wife Lol!
This is a really awesome dryer highly highly recommended!

This is a great appliance. I'm going to focus on a couple of issues but they are FYI. You should buy this washer.
One of the cool things about this appliance is the way the doors can swing two ways. To the side to pull out clothes and to the front to slide them in.
The wireless app works well and you can turn on the light during the cycle.
It is stingy as far as cycle modifiers. More so than its matching washer. It really doesn't want to tumble low except for delicates which is a short time to dry.
You cannot change it in any other modes. Why not, LG?
If you want a low temp wash, you have to download it from the app but it is cool that you can do this.
The damp sensor isn't great. My 25-year-old Kenmore did a better job but it also used a lot more electricity.
With towels and sheets, you may need to add some extra time or select a higher dampness level.
A lot of towel and sheet manufactures recommend low for drying and that can be a pain here if you don't remember to modify the cycle.
The steam fresh feature 100% works. I left a shirt in overnight and it wrinkled but the steam feature fixed it in less than 10 minutes.
It came out slightly damp. You may need a few minutes on low to take care of that or let it hang to dry.
These issues should not stop you from buying. I am very pleased with this appliance.

This dryer is great! The "EasyLoad" door is the major selling point here. I thought it was more of a marketing gimmick, but I really do use the feature more than I thought I would, so I'll start with that. The steam feature is a great bragging point, but I don't find myself using it very often, but maybe it's just my preference.
I have found that sometimes, the dryer does "sense" that the clothes are dry and they're actually still quite damp. I know this isn't a fault of a dirty lint trap or a clogged/restricted vent, so I do have to double check the clothes before I pull them out to make sure they're as dry as I've selected them to be.
Other than that, the machine does a great job. The large size is great and it's easy to use.

As other reviewers stated the dryer is just a regular dryer no extra power or short dry time here! I almost feel like it sets as well as my old LG that was 13 yrs old! BUT THE BIG DEAL is the snazzy door!! Seriously it is a fantastic feature! Makes it easy to load clothes from washer! And the side open feature makes it easy to unload into a basket!
Haven’t needed the steam feature yet but am happy to have it for summer linen!
Side note- we had to change the direction of the door hinge and it was a little tricky! Just be careful and have someone help you! I feel like it took two eyes because there are quite a few things needed to do it and sooo many screws!

Our old washer finally failed after 16 years (average life span is 8 years!). Decided to buy a new one, and although our dryer was still working, we decided to replace that as well which comes with a discount if you purchase both. Delivery was delayed, but only by a few days and the Geek Squad installers were great. No issues there, and the new LG's are fantastic.

Great dryer but serious lint trap issues

We have had the dryer for less than 60 days and are generally very pleased. The problem I have with this is serious. It involves the lint trap housing. The lint trap itself is easy enough to clean. However, there is a waffle-like plastic housing that holds the lint trap in place and this gets all kinds if lint stuck in it (not just the lint trap screen). Lint also gets stuck below the lint trap and against the interior housing wall of the lint trap chamber. So in addition to just cleaning the lint trap screen, you will also periodically need to disassemble the the lint trap housing itself (4 screws of which 2 are awkwardly on the inside of the dryer) in order to be able to reach the lint that is trapped within this chamber so that you can vacuum it out with a narrow tool). Failure to do this on a regular basis would no-doubt present a fire hazard. Ours already has considerable amount of lint build up there and we've had it less than 2 months. We've had great luck with LG and are disappointed that such a nice dryer has such a fatal flaw. I am not willing to disassemble my lint trap housing every 2 months from now for the rest of this dryer's life, and so ours is going back (I am grateful that I am a Total Tech member this year as I believe I still have a few days yet to return/replace this with a different model).

Thought it was going to be a happy investment, was I wrong. Clothes take long to dry on normal. Lint filter gets lint on ledge of machine an goes all over when you pull it out to clean. Got returned after trying to give it several tries. Not good. Not happy.
