Customers have good things to say about the large capacity, quiet operation, and convenient dual-opening door of this 7.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Electric Dryer. The steam feature and ease of use are also frequently praised, with many noting the dryer's excellent performance in getting clothes perfectly dry. While some customers found the price to be high and experienced challenges with the dryer light and Wi-Fi connectivity, the positive feedback on key features outweighs these concerns. Overall, the dryer receives high marks for its functionality and user-friendliness.

Bought this to go with the matching washer. I would think having the giant washer, LG would make the dryer to accommodate the big loads the washer holds. When drying large loads from the washer, you have to separate them. Dry half the load in the washer, leave the other half sitting in the washer. It’s inconvenient & annoying. My old washer you’d have to run 3 cycles sometimes to dry the clothes, so I was excited to have a NEW washer that would finally dry in 1 cycle..... but no, When it’s finished, even though I have the setting on “very dry” “med . temp” I’m still having to run 2 cycles. Maybe I just need to play around with it a bit to figure it out. Idk. Haven’t used the steam option yet. But LG, I’m disappointed. Why sell the matching dryer when it can’t handle the load from the washer

I love my new dryer. It has so many new features that actually work. The steam works wonders on my work clothes and I love the anti-bacterial cycle.

My wife is very happy with this LG washer and dryer combo. We had side-loaders that weren't very convenient for the layout of our laundry room. These top loaders actually have larger capacity and she loves the new app-based features.

I removed a star for the door. I get annoyed when the door swings closed. It was a returned unit so I got what I paid for.
The dryer is great. I love the various settings. Coming from a rental house with a one setting dryer to this unit was crazy. I’m still playing with it. The steam feature is wonderful when you accidentally leave items in the dryer too long.

This is an excellent dryer! The door hinges allow it to open from the side or the top which is a great feature. It has a steam fresh dryer option that I use to take wrinkles out of my clothes with out having to use the iron.

This was to replace my older model with steam. The upgrades that they made to the new model fix all the things I didn't care for in the old model. It used to be a steam reservoir that you had to fill up almost every other time. Now the dryer double hooks straight into the hot water line.

This is a replacement for my 8 year old Samsung that was very similar. The LG is far superior in performance. Clothing come out almost wrinkle free and drying is much more even. The stream/wrinkle refresh setting is unsurpassed and will now be unable to live without it. No need for an iron again!

We were a little troubled when our delivery guys/installers told us that this dryer would not be able to dry our clothes fully as they were setting it up for us. We thought that we made a mistake in ordering it - because I really like my clothes to get dry! Thankfully, they were wrong. If you leave them on the automatic setting of "Normal", then they are still damp. However, if you change the setting to "more dry", then they come out dry. Unfortunately, you have to do this every single time - which is annoying, but at least it works.
Overall we are happy with the dryer. I would like to be able to set settings so that they are on all the time, instead of having to select them every time - like the "Wrinkle Care" and "Dry Level". Maybe the company can work on making that improvement!

When the washer was set in place, it was comical compared to our old Whirlpool. However, it holds the same size load, it is much more efficient, uses less water and is So very quite. If the end quality is better, 5 Stars all around!

I love the dryer - now that I have it. First dryer came damaged. The driver reported it and took pictures of it. No problem. Things happen. It took 10 days to get a new one. The third party delivery team was awful. They couldn’t figure out how to disconnect the water line to the steam dryer. They said they had to leave and picked up the dryer and left! Said it would take 24 hours to get back into the system to redeliver. They would call me. The next day they were at the house. I wasn’t living there! No other contact. We got another date scheduled. They called me and said they’d be there in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later they called and said they forgot to put the dryer on the truck! Really? Finally two guys arrived to deliver it that afternoon. The dryer was in the back of a pick up truck. Ive always purchased things from Best Buy. I do love my LG washer and dryer. Best Buy needs to do better in hiring their third party delivery team. It makes YOUR company look really bad.

Have had this dryer just under a month. It works well, drys a large load of clothes with only one cycle, just like you would except. The stream feature is also a great feature. Also it does come with the hose set up for the steam function. I will recommend this dryer.

This dryer works great overall. Once you get WiFi setup, it's nice to have a notification on your phone or watch that a load is done. Door opens like an oven as well as swinging from the left or right. You have to choose left or right when you set it up but either of those two will allow the center drop-down opening as well. Nice to have options.

replaced 20 year old dryer that died with this, Nice looking and simple to use. Didnt even read the manual - its straightforward and intuitive. Linked it wireless to my cell phone using LG ThinQ app and it alerts me when load ks finished. Love the 2 way hinge

Excellent product! Perfect size for a family of 4. Our king size comforters fit with more room if needed. I like the sensing technology that determines how long the wash will last. It’s gentle with our delicate clothes.

I can't think of any issues I've had but glad I read the manual to understand what the different settings actually do and are for; it's not always what you'd assume. Very quiet, love the steam option. Even had a customer amazed at how perfect my dress shirt looked (not on me, but how perfect the shirt came out) and asking how I did it. That's when I was definitely sold on this dryer and knew it is truly excellent and it's not just me trying to justify my purchase. Will update the review if we encounter any issues.
I do wish the chute door would open slightly more, but that would probably defeat the purpose. That's my biggest "complaint", which should say a lot bc you can have it open from the side too if you prefer.

I like this dryer and it works well. I like having the steam function to get wrinkles out. The only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 is because I don’t like how the door does not open all the way (by design). It looks fantastic though.

Unit is very quiet compared to our old ones. Worked great for a family. We have not figured out all the programming but have learned that the “normal” setting leaves clothes damp. Have to change it to dry “more” and thus “medium to high” heat. Bought this on sale with the washer. Was considering a lesser unit until the sale started.

The thing I love most about this dryer is that you can either open the door from the side (to unload clothes) or open the door from the top (to load clothes). I am a tall person and being able to “drop” clothes into the dryer instead of on the floor is very useful to me!
