It doesn't dry all the way on Normal or Heavy Duty setting. You have to add additional time after the first setting has completed the cycle.

About as bad as the matching washer

Along with the matching washer I have made an expensive mistake. It will not allow me to decide how best to dry my clothes. Everything I dry comes out very wrinkled and not soft even with fabric softener. I certainly can't see any advantage to having a washer and dryer tell me how to do my laundry. Thought paying extra for the steam cycle would help with wrinkled clothes but it doesn't. If will freshen sweaters and clothes that have been stored or worn but they too come out wrinkled just like those out of the matching washer.

I would NEVER AGAIN buy a stove like this. The glass top has an etched pattern over the eyes that looks nice. I never considered that LG would make a stove top that a razor blade can’t scrape and it has tiny checked pattern just down in the glad enough it’s not a smooth top. I’ve had glass top stoves and even bought the first ceramic tops. This is a beautiful impossible to clean piece of junk. The selling point for me was the oven. But broil doesn’t go to the normal 500° nor can you adjust it where you want it. I’ve not checked the temp but gets way to hot on high and not enough on the lower setting on only to.
So top sucks for cleaning and I have to clean after every use. I basically hate cooking.
Not only is it impossible to clean it works more link an induction than an eye. It doesn’t care why setting it’s in. It can burn a grilled cheese sandwich before real cheese melts. My year warranty is going to be over in a few months where Best Buy geek squad protection starts and I’m going to have one fry something let it cool and show me how to clean this silly top. Then I’m going to have them grill me a nice brown toasty cheese sandwich without me telling them how. Oven not happy either. Will have them broil my precooked bacon that my old stove did perfectly
I’m ready to cover the top with a beautiful butcher block top and buy me a commercial free standing set of cooking eyes.

Can’t dry clothes

This dryer has a million cycles, none of which result in actually dry clothes, even when you choose the “Very Dry” option for its sensors. So it has a million useless cycle options. For every load I do, I bypass the cycle option and set it using the very not-intuitively placed “Timed Dry” option, setting the temperature myself, and pressing “Add Time” about 11 times to get to its maximum time of 140 minutes. So to get a very large load of delicate women’s clothes dried on Low temperature, I have to press buttons about 15 times. This is not an exaggeration. To make matters worse, it simply cannot dry the very large loads of towels or bedding that its companion 5.5-cubic foot capacity washer was designed to wash. So I spent hundreds of extra dollars on a washer that handles super-large loads, but I can’t dry them, thereby negating the whole purpose of spending extra on a very large washer. I really wish that I had just purchased a cheap, simple washer and dryer with 3 settings. Seriously. I read other reviews that said that, but I thought it couldn’t be true. It is.

This dryer is too smart for its own good. It stops drying when the sensors think the clothing is dry but I have yet to find a setting that would dry my clothing unless I dry it on a setting that is way too hot for the material. I have tried to use manual settings to continue to get clothing to dry but the sensor always overrides the timer and shuts off the dryer. It is no fun hanging out clothing and towels to finish drying. I am having issues getting through to the sales group to discuss exchanging these products and I am very displeased with the product and the store.

Only had 3 days; there is a glitch that will not allow some of the smart functions. I have spent over 12 hours with LG and Best Buy, still not resolved. If smart technology important to you, look at other unit.

This dryer is inefficient from my experience of using it. It does not get heated as much as I would like. When I put it on high, I expect the clothes to be dry with in an hour or two hours but it doesn't.

Has very few low temp settings and unlike its washer counterpart, cannot switch the temp on the different settings. It takes more than one time to actually dry items.
We do like having option to get notifications on phone when it's done.

1st dryer delivered on 9/3 had a bubble in the display. 2nd dryer delivered on 9/12 made knocking sounds as if it was not balanced, 3rd dryer delivered on 9/19 makes vibrating buzzing sounds unless you push on the display, 4th dryer can’t be delivered until Nov 13th. Ordered the washer on 9/5 that was delivered today 10/3. Each time I was on the phone with customer service at least 25 minutes. I do not recommend this LG dryer. If the washer has problems too it’s all going back.

Regret buying this every time I wash clothes. Machine destroys clothes, twists them into a pretzel and leave creases that are impressive. The HE style uses less water but leaves the clothes with detergent stains. Tried every setting and every trick in the book but this is just not a good washer. On a positive note, the oversized tub ruins more clothes with less loads.
