    Purchased this after my 15 year old drier finally quit. I have to say that the smart features are amazing. Sends a notification to your phone when the cycle is done which is very convenient for us.

    This is a great looking dryer, but there are some functional and design flaws that make me question my purchase. First, and most concerning, is the fact that unless you manually select the "very dry" setting, none of the default presets results in fully dry clothing or towels. If this is advanced sensing, what's the point? Who wants damp clothes? Looking at the instruction manual was not a big help, as it only addresses load size and blockages of the filter or vent, which are not my issues. In terms of flawed design, the control panel is black (without backlighting), but the labels are kind of grey, so they do not stand out, making them hard to see. And, finally, the interior light does not automatically come on, unless the power button is pushed. I own other LG appliances that work very well, but I cannot recommend this gas dryer.
