Dryes everything typically on the first go. Excluding King size blanket. The musical chimes are cute and just loud enough to know the dryer is done. If you dont like the chimes, you can use the app and get notifications to your phone.

This LG smart dryer dries quickly and using the LG ThinQ app makes it even easier in conjunction with the LG smart washer to get the wash done quickly and efficiently. WiFi can be a bit difficult to set up.

Cons include stupid door that opens to the side! When you open the door all the socks, dryer balls, small items fall right on the floor. The lint tray is absolutely horrible. Dumbest design ive ever seen! Its folded, so when you open it, the lint wafts in your face. Then you have to peel off the lint over the trash. The settings make so sense. You either have a preset of 35 minutes or 1:03 minutes. If you want anything else, you have to select a bunch of buttons. The app feature is nice. But i also have an LG fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave so im familiar with the app. As others stated, the machine does the classic LG "song" after each cycle. You cant turn it off. I am returning this set.

It also looks fantastic with the brushed black finish! Im very happy with this purchase and though I've yet to empty out the lint trap, it's actually a pretty simple and standard process, so i expect no issue there. The smart features are also a welcome bonus as it may not be super useful all the time, it does give me status and health info about the dryer that lets me know things are doing what they're supposed to!

The lack of an automatic light took some getting used to. Didn't realize how much it helps to have a light when taking clothes out.
