DO NOT BUY FROM Best Buy!!! Major GAS LEAK CAUSED

The installation technician installed it improperly and we had a major gas leak in the middle of the night. I have not had anyone from Best Buy call me to repair and its been over a week!!! This is so unacceptable!!!

3 weeks old & needed part replacement

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Dryer a few weeks ago, and today it had to have the ignition unit replaced .... = 1 star The only reason I gave it 2 stars is the main reason I bought it, which is because I like the double action door. 1) I like to use the door's hamper opening, because it prevents clothes from dopping on the floor when unloading. 2) But, I like the option to open the door side to side when I want better access to the drum so I can wipe down the inside of the drum for sand and other particles that do NOT get removed.

I just don’t like the fact that it locks down the door and you have to pause it to open it just in case you forgot to add more clothes. Or more fabric softer while it’s rising.

Oh dryer

LG did not honor my warranty

LG chose, and sent repairman 3 different times (4 if you count the no show), and the dryer is still not working. It is now January 27th and LG expects me to wait 15 business days before they can decide what do next. I am done waiting, and have sent a demand letter to LG in preparation for small claims court. Based on this experience, I don’t think LG is capable of supporting their products.

Not completely drying

Still waiting for installation

The unit was delivered and the drivers said they were not authorized to install it. They promised to have someone return the next wee to install, they did not show up. I still have not had the dryer installed.

Best Buy nightmare

It was installed with the old vent and gas line, even though I paid for the new ones. Dryer signaled that the air flow was limited. We cleaned out the vents. Dryer still didn't work. Best Buy exchanged the dryer, the new one worked right away. It still has the airflow sign on after a while, which means I should clean the filter. Overall very disappointed with Best Buy. Not impressed with the dryer. The delivery team scuffed my walls. I will go somewhere else next time.

Lousy Delivery Service/Communication

Initial delivery canceled 30 minutes prior to delivery rescheduled for today 3/2420. Due to virus, was notified that in-house delivery was unavailable and that new units would be dropped off curbside. Old units would be taken if placed out on curb. Delivery truck showed up guys told me that as of today they were instructed not to take old units. The units were 5 feet from truck. I already did half of there job by pulling them out not to mention that I was going to have to install myself. Seeing that the delivery service is not up to snuff, I canceled order and placed new order with competitor guaranteeing take a way and installation. Best Buy needs to align itself with a better delivery provider. Service on this order was horrible at best. Given the money I have spent over the years, BB will last consideration going forward.

Prepare for Service Calls

It was covered by warranty but we were out a dryer for two weeks less than a year after the purchase and apparently it is a very common issue with these dryers. It works fine again afterward, but how long with this board last? $1k dryers should fair better. The matching washer board just crapped out too and is probably just out of warranty now. Last LG purchase for me.
