Dryer does not work. Will only works on normal mode but even then it leaves the clothes wet like when they went in.

It never worked. Getting it replaced was impossible. Ended going with a small company, and GE dryer.

Cheaply made it barely drys my clothes the door is thin and the dryer is very noisey .

Not at all happy with this dryer. It takes forever to dry anything and with all the features, it should be able to auto sense when clothes aren't dry.

Worked great until it it was 3 months past the 1 year warranty then it quit working

Bought September 4th of 2020. It is now February 4th 2022. It has already failed. Dont know whats wrong. But it no longer drys.

Best Buy stole my old washer and dryer over a month ago and still hasn’t resolved it.

Really great dryer. Almost always dries in one cycle. Like how a warning light comes on and it shuts down if we need to clean put the vent outside, great safety feature. We also like that the door can be opened 2 ways.

Dual opening of dryer door & the app to let you know when your cycle is complete are nice features. Dries fast however interior of dryer had odd smell. Best Buy customer service quickly addressed the issue.

I had to replace the old dryer because it makes some real annoying noise. I had an in-home advisor recommend a set of washer and dryer. I told him I want a very quiet dryer. So quiet that I would not even know it is operating. He recommend this dryer. I did several test drying, and am totally please with it. The buttons are very simple to operate, and it has the modern look. When the clothes are dried, it will chime for about 5 seconds in an easy melodic tune, but not loud.

Very quiet and efficient. I was afraid that it would not fit into the space designated for my washer and dryer, but the service tech made it happen.

It's several little things but they add up. 1. My eyes aren't young and the dryer isn't placed directly under the overhead light so I need a flashlight to read the options to select. No doubt eventually I will have memorized all the possible settings. 2. The dryer rests in the corner of the room and the door, therefore, only opens about 92 degrees - not sufficiently open to stay open on it's own (it slowly swings shut); annoying when loading/removing clothes 3. The dry-complete beep isn't loud enough to hear on the other side of the basement wall (dividing the basement in half; there's no shut door to block the beep). I will say that a friend claims her LG dryer beep is very much louder. 4. To dry on the NORMAL cycle - cannot change the temperature setting from MED-HIGH (eg., to MED) 5. You must power on the dryer to activate the drum light. That is, if you want the dryer light on when you are loading, the power button must be engaged unless you don't mind loading your clothing into a dark chamber. I find that annoying and irritating. 6. This LG replaced a 35 year old Kenmore. It wasn't necessary to set a wrinkle care cycle; it kept spinning and occasionally beeping for quite a while after the drying had complete. The LG requires activating the wrinkle care cycle. 7. I emptied the dryer earlier this evening but the lights are still lit (waiting I guess for me to stop/clear out the cycle I assume. To its credit clothes and sheets seem to be somewhat less wrinkled than in my old dryer although the slightest dampness can be felt on some of the items when removing. And some of the items that I don't like no doubt aren't a bother for other people.

We purchased this dryer recently with the washer. The washer is a better performing machine than the dryer. Unfortunately, the packages make you buy for the same look and you are at a loss when the dryer does not live up to the expectation. First of all, a mixture of small and large clothes does not work. The gas burner is noisy. I never heard the gas burner turn on and off in my previous dryers. Of course, you can change everything until you get things right. This damages small clothes if you try to run it longer. In other words, the large capacity is wasted if you have to run multiple times to dry clothes from one batch of 5.5 Cu. ft. washer by separating them out. Also, we have to figure out why the WI-Fi will not connect. The washer worked like a charm.

Before it broke down, our gas front loading LG dryer was a hardworking appliane for 3 1/2 years. We purchased it on May 26, 2020 for $1,100.00 We also purchased a 3-year Best Buy protection plan; and 7 months almost to the day after the protection plan ended, the dryer broke. We had to replace the main panel that gives the rest of the machine instructions. The problem was NOT diagnosed within the LG Smart system, so we paid extra because the panel did not tell us what where the error was and it was so new the problems were not easily detected. This repair will cost $500 to $700 for parts and service. In the scheme of purchasing a quality appliance from a reliable company within a reliable retail store, I am really disappointed in the whole experience now.
