    Ok so far, but makes a weird clicking sound

    Just had it installed and when it runs while it is empty, you can hear a clicking sound as the drum goes around, it sounds like a heart beat each revolution. Also I have a matching LG washer and it has a chrome dial, this one comes with a matte grey dial which I didn't realize until I got it, so it doesn't match.

    Failed within 2 months

    "GAS" code, no heat. On the plus side, it's still under warranty. On the negative side, having this fail in only 2 months doesn't bode well for its reliability. We are regretting this purchase already. To make it worse, LG's repair service is abysmal. It took took weeks to get a repairman out here to fix it, and when the day came, he called and said he couldn't make it! We had to reschedule a further week out. You're better off avoiding LG.

    Horrible appliance

    This dryer is horrible. Needed repair within 13 months. It’s been 5 years. This year had to have the motor replaced. That repair only lasted 30 minutes. Didn’t even make it through the cycle.

    Had 2.5 years and already needs service at $350 worth of parts and service. Man that came out to house…said he has to keep replacing thermistor the and motherboard.

    Not worth it

    I bought this dryer 3 years ago. After a few months, clothes were still damp after drying if it was more than 1/2 full. Now, I am getting an error message that the machine is not getting enough gas. PSEG came out and said it's a dryer issue. So now LG wants to charge $375 to fix the dryer for a machine that is 3 years old. Insane. Do not buy.

    Never worked properly

    This dryer never worked properly from day one. LG was the worst company in the world to deal with to get it fixed. It took three months to finally get the unit replaced. This time I bought the extended warranty through Best Buy so if I have problems with the replacement it should be much easier.

    Lasted less than 2 years. Turns out the LG warranty is only for one year. Between that and the pain it was to get it to pair to their smart app, this purchase isn't worth it.
