I selected this dryer as its matching washer is I believe the best top loader on the planet. The matching washer has a sanitize with heater setting that is almost nonexistent in top loaders. Therefore, I didn't have much choice, if I wanted the matching washer. Nevertheless, the dryer is a competent unit. It has everything you would want. Gas hookup (if that's what your house needs), steam function, wifi, and a two way door. There are a myriad of cycles to choose from, or you can download specialty ones from the LG app. If you preload the unit and turn on remote start, you can also start a cycle from anywhere on the planet. LG will also push alerts to your phone when each cycle completes. The color is very nice, but this is where I dock one point. The Best Buy guy left it with some swirls / light scratches towards the front top. They had set some things on it. I never sit things on it to protect it, so it's a shame this happened before I even got my hands on it. Otherwise, installation went ok. This is a really nice dryer and best of all, it matches one of the very best top load washers, so what's not to love? Recommended.

The dryer works good for the most part. I’ve noticed the automatic dry function will leave some clothes damp if I mix the fabrics (like denim etc). But it’s real quiet and will dry when time is added on.

I’ve had it for a few weeks runs quite. Love the texted when the dryer is done. The tub is extra deep perfect for our King size bedding.

The fluid filling tray is kinda flimsy, where everything else is rock solid. Overall it's a nice washer. The installer people were super quick and very professional. They definitely get 5 stars.

Got this and the washer combo. Both are great. So far I love everything on both expect one issue. I was told this can easily wash a king size comforter. Well I have a queen size. The Flow Sense error comes on causing the heat to stop. For those that don't know. The error is caused by bad air flow from the dryer and vents. I think what's happening is the comforter is blocking the vent inside the dryer. You can turn off Flow Sense with a button combination but then it stops the dryer completely. If it's on it at least runs with no heat. So I spent about 5 hours restarting the dryer to get this thing dried. Honestly though besides that I would still recommend the set. It's great overall but that's after a couple weeks of use. I'll just keep taking the comforter to the laundromat drop off every couple months for $15

Really nice large dryer. Fairly quiet. It does take a bit long to dry I think.

The dryer is very reliable and efficient. We have had it for two years now and love it. However I had to take 1 star off the rating for two reasons; 1) using the sensor cycle always leaves clothes very damp so we use timed dry for everything 2) we paid extra to have Best Buy reverse the direction that the door opens but upon delivery they said they could not do it. So I tried calling and got connected to a call center in another country that wouldn’t help and finally had to go into the local store, speak with a manager, get the extra fee reimbursed, and have my husband take the machine apart and do it himself. That was extremely frustrating and a waste of a very large chunk of time. Great dryer, do not recommend Best Buy installers at all though. If you aren’t handy, I recommend hiring a local handyman to install your appliances.

Had dryer 1 month. Love how fast it dries but should have written instructions on how to efficiently use the many settings to dry clothes in energy efficient manner.

In general, a very good product. It is quiet and the clothes are well washed. It does not allow to customize your settings but otherwise happy with it

When you turn the dryer on it starts to dry before you can set it to the drying position you want.

I’m still learning how to optimize the use of my new dryer. So far it has performed to my expectations.

Love my new dryer. Was just a pain to get it - best buy store originally ordered an electric one and had to go through customer service (where there was a language barrier) and had the gas dryer ordered & returned 10x on my account. Delivery date that was scheduled had to be rescheduled because they overbooked the delivery guy. Parts were missing when item was picked up.

Nice, good looking dryer. Only issue so far is with sensor drying, sometimes the items are not fully dry. They are 90% dry, but just a bit damp. The sensor seems to think they are completely dry, so we have to use a timed dry setting for the last few minutes.

I love my dryer! there is only one thing I 'm concerned about, and that is we have to put the dryer on two times for an hour each time in order for the clothes to be completely dry, I think a tech should come take a look at it. THANK YOU!

Complicated controls takes time to learn. Be sure you state which direction you want the door to open and get it in writing because the installer will refuse to change it while installing the dryer. There are directions, but is VERY detailed

Love the drier but you do have to set the temp and dryness settings up pretty high to make sure that a large load is dried all the way through. Of course I'm probably giving it too big of a load so shame on me.

My only issue is I'm having problems setting a Wi-Fi up with the dryer other than that this is a very nice dryer it does just what it says supposed to do I have no negative comments about it at all work real well and it looks good as well
