    Poor quality design and parts

    One of the dryer hinges broke after only a little over 2 years worth of use and is, of course, out of warranty so now we have to pay more money to have it repaired. Additionally, it does not dry particularly well and requires multiple dry cycles.

    waste of money and LG doesn't back up warranty

    Doesn't dry clothes on the first cycle. I use it as recommended, with normal load sizes, have a clean vent, and went through all the troubleshooting with LG. I also had a technician over; he checked and said everything was working as intended, but he said unfortunately "LG is intentional about leaving clothes damp when a cycle is complete". I'm not sure why they'd do that, but a dryer that doesn't dry is crazy. I have to run a second cycle, or hang dry for 4 out of 5 loads. Lots of extra time to get my laundry done. Very unhappy. LG won't back their warranty either.

    Great while it lasted. Broke after 4 years. Only has a 1 year warranty.

    This manufacturer does not stand by their products! I purchased a defective machine and the company is not willing to replace it in a timely manner. I have been without a dryer for a week with no answer as to when it will be fixed. Meanwhile, they are unwilling to give a replacement machine. Horrible, horrible customer service! I will never purchase another LG product, regardless of what it is. They do not stand behind their product.
