    Takes a really long time to get our clothes dry. Got an error message right out of the gate. We have cleaned out our vent on each side but are still seeing issues. I am not sure if this is a quality issue due to Covid product line problems but we are disappointed overall.

    Terrible dryer - electricity bill 2x normal now

    We had a Samsung set for 3 years, and switched to this new LG set up. We have tried every setting possible to get the clothes dry, the ONLY setting that actually gets them dry is the manual version. And run it for 2 full cycles with each load. Since the switch my electric bill is 2x before using these new LG dryer and washer set up. Feb Bill was $657!!!! Terrible product as a dryer, and similar poor results with the LG washer we bought! Do NOT buy this unit

    The dryer is great and the local store is great. The delivery and install is the worst... when things go wrong Best Buy will not be there for you. I have tried by phone, email, twitter.... I really don’t think they care.

    The dryer works nice. I couldn't connect it with with smart phone. The washer takes getting used to. Seems not enough water to wash anything with. No individual control for different phase of washing (i.e. separate control for spin only)

    Since last September we have had issues with the dryer not heating up when drying our clothes! With COVID we might not be able to get it fixed any times soon!

    Looks nice but steam functionality faulty

    When they were delivering and installing my dryer they told me the steam functionality didn’t work and was leaking on that setting.. still waiting for a replacement (it’s been a few months now)

    This thing is a pile of garbage. After waiting a month to get my new washer and dryer, they called and said they only had the dryer available. This dryer is great at telling you your clothes are dry, but not drying them. I spent 5 hours on the phone trying to return this today but, their supervisor (Sean #A99666489- who said he was in an "undisclosed location in the USA") was very arrogant and unprofessional. I could here his TV on in the background throughout the whole call. Best buy won't let me return this now either. DON'T BUY LG!!!

    This dryer does not dry things well

    We had the tiniest baby clothes load and we had to run it twice. Basically everything we've dried we've had to dry it twice! Not what you'd expect from such an expensive dryer.

    Serious Design Flaw

    The LCD on this particular front end loading dryer l (which is a White LG DLEX3700W ) is not illuminated and without clear markings which makes it extremely difficult to see and set options that the dryer allows. To see the options I need a flashlight. LG appears to be aware of this problem since other models are much improved but still fall short of acceptable. You can verify this by an in store inspection of this model. LCD on the Samsung front load dryer is substantially better. Unfortunately my only remedy is to return it. LG is usually a good purchase but not in this case..

    Damages clothing and doesn’t dry properly

    Lint trap starts to lift as the cycle is drying and clothing gets caught and damaged. Over the last year I’ve had hundreds of dollars worth of clothing and other items destroyed by the lint trap. Dryer does not fully dry clothing on recommended settings. We have to adjust timing and temp to get clothing fully dry. Would not recommend this dryer to anyone.

    This is a very expensive product and i can agree with some of the other reviews that it doesnt always dry as well as it probably should.

    Good dryer but WIFI didnt work as advertised

    Dried clothes ok, at times would need to reset to allow for more drying. We stacked the dryer on top of the washer and dials were at the top. But thought with WIFI we could use our tablet, or phone or via Amazon Alexa, However, to enable WIFI you needed to press a button on the dryer for 3 minutes...didn't work for those of us that our short, and Amazon Alexa not yet enabled yet advertised. Thus we returned to store. We would have kept if WIFI truly worked.

    This is the worst piece of junk I have ever owned. WiFi does not connect. Diagnostics does not work. Machine completely locks up and will not do anything if it thinks there is a problem. Service is $$$$$. I WISH I HAD MY OLD MACHINE BACK!!! I’m sorry I ever bought this thing.

    Broken on delivery

    Washer cold water valve was broken and machine completely filled with water and ‘FE’ warning message appear - on the very first time the washer was switched on. Currently waiting for LG repairman to come and replace it. Not a great reflection on Best Buy products that the washer is broken when you get it delivered!!!!

    Never should have switched from Whirl Pool

    This LG washer consistently messes up clothes (snagging clothes with the lint holder). I had this replaced within a year of the purchase. Now about 4 months later the dryer continues to mess up clothes and not dry clothes thoroughly. I just dealt with the shortcomings but now I am really tired of replacing clothes and bedding.
