    DO NOT BUY - Clothes never dry

    We have had this dryer for 3 months now, and frankly, we hate it. We are so disappointed that we spent $800 on a dryer that doesn't get our clothes dry seemingly regardless of what settings we use. We had an older version of this dryer at our last house that was over 7 years old and that worked great which is why we purchased this one, but I would not recommend this dryer to anyone. Way too much money for a product that doesn't do its job.

    Don’t buy. Your wallet will thank you. I have owned a few LG washers and dryers over the years. Never had issues with any dryer until I owned this one. LGs inherently take a long time to dry clothes in my experience. After owning and using this machine for 3 1/2 years showed error code and wouldn’t run. Tried troubleshooting with online suggestions. Didn’t work. Called an Appliance repair co. Thermostat and control panel both need replaced at a cost of $750. Super disappointing after only 3 1/2 years of normal use. Having to buy a new dryer :-(

    Needed repair after 6 months

    After about 6 months of normal use, the drum developed a terrible grinding noise. The appliance repairman who was sent to fix it (under warranty, thankfully) told me that he's seen the motors and belts of LG washers and dryers fail right out of the box. So he wasn't surprised that mine was shot.

    Do Not Buy This Dryer

    I would give this a zero if possible. The lint screen does not fit and constantly catches on clothes (ane ruins them). We've bought several replacements from LG and they do work/fit properly (same outcome). Customer service is also completely useless. Buy another dryer.

    Really sorry dryer

    We bought this washer/dryer stack unit about 4-5 years ago. The washer has been fine. The dryer has stunk up the show for years and it's on the fritz yet again. It's usually a sensor issue, but still costs in excess of $100 each time. And there have been lots of times. It's a really sorry dryer unit.

    Worst product ever i have purchased from Bestbuy. Broke within first 2 years. Very glitchy from the get go. Wouldn't recommend this.

    Good at wifi, bad as a dryer

    Overly complicated and poor dryer. Either damp or cooked clothes. 4k settings for what should be "steam and dry" button and done. But wait, it comes with wifi! Who cares??? Just dry my clothes!

    Can’t use most functions without breaking

    The machine overheats. We have had to replace the sensor that detects if clothes is wet over 5 times if not more. Now we are only able to use it in the time setting and unable to use other functions. Don’t buy.

    DO NOT BUY. Will stop heating after 6 months to a year. LG knows this based on dozens of other reviews, but will not do anything. No wonder it's no longer being made.
