Excellent dryer - but leaves more wrinkles than the previous LG dryer we had.

Below my expectations, didn't see any difference between this one and a $500 dryer. I thought the sensor could feel the dryness of the clothes and automatically adjust the time but pretty often I need to do the laundry twice to get my clothes dry.

I've had a poor experience with this LG set from the delivery to the products to the customer service. Although they look nice and have the bells and whistles anyone would want, we've had these for about a month and have already received several errors requiring us to contact LG. Additionally, they seem to work okay with large loads, but for small loads or just a few selecture items, the moisture sensor doesn't seem to be effective. I threw a couple of work shirts in on steam refresh and at the end of the cycle they were soaking wet. So much for timely, I had to put them on again at speed dry which defeats the purpose for more delicate items. These are going back to best buy. Best buy thinks I may have gotten bad units, but I'm not willing to risk it and am switching brands.

Just like the LG Washer, the Dryer is quite noisy. I was upgrading from a 15 year old dryer with the hope that it would be more quiet, but it is not. It would also be nice if the default was set to "Very Dry" so I do not have to change that on every single load. The default does not dry the clothes completely and leaves them damp. The clothes do come out very noticeably soft, which is the best feature. The design and style of the dryer looks great. The "fast dry" feature is also very fast which is nice when you're in a rush. Between the washer and dryer pairing you can 'fast wash' a load of clothes in 30 minutes total (15 to wash, 15 to dry).

We've tried several times to use the sensor to dry the clothes but we find we have to run it thru several cycles for that to work. So to save time and energy we use timed dry.

Overpriced! It does not entirely dry the clothes. I have to do a cycle twice so that it dries

We were an early adopter for this dryer when we purchased it back in Dec. 2014. Everything was working well for a few days. When it started squeaking at the ends of cycles, it was starting to annoy me. I contacted service and they stated it was the triangular washer causing the issue. They suggested waiting 2 weeks for break in. Unfortunately it continued. They came a fixed it no problem, but created a different issue. When the unit shakes it squeaked too. Apparently when it was dissembled it was not put back together properly. A second services was required, but thankfully was solved. Now I could not be pleased more. This dryer now sounds solid and was very pleased with the service department once the squeaking issues stopped. Drier works well. I give it a 4 for the squeaking issue.

The dryer did not heat at all and the built in diagnostics could not determine the problem. I returned it and bought a Samsung.
