I bought the LG4270 dryer together with the matching washer LG4270, as both products offered all the features I was looking for. I was looking for an "ultra low" temperature setting, which I found with this dryer. I use it a lot together with the "manual" dry program for delicate and hand wash items and feel I have better control and the laundry is handled more gently. All of the dryer's programs and temperature settings do a great job. I also like that the temperature can be changed with several of the drying programs. The dryer is gentle to clothing and dries the laundry quickly, thanks to the great job the washer is doing in the spin cycle. I am very pleased with the product.

I've been relatively satisfied with the dryer. Looks great, very quiet, drys pretty well BUT the lint screen doesn't fit right and snags and tears clothing. Have spent over 20 hours on phone with Best Buy customer service and all I can say is "wow, they really couldn't give a darn". I have never experienced such poor customer service and lack of basic follow thru. Just rude and disrespectful indirectly while smiling and saying they value your business. They dont

So far we are basically pleased with this product, it's a bit slower than I thought because we replaced a Maytag that took forever to dry a heavy load, we have had a problem with the "flow sensor" it detects vent obstructions despite the house vent being cleaned out before the installation could be that the vent hose is too long. Controls take time to figure out ,still looking forward to steam drying a load. You have to pay an extra $500 for the washer & dryer pedestals & the installers cannot use the old connections so you have to purchase 2 new kits. They look very nice side by side.

This dryer is very nice and the size is great. I like the features and large flexibility in the number of cycles and customizing the cycles. It does a good job of drying large and small loads.

We've owned this dryer for ~2 months now. We purchased the dryer together with the washing machine Model WM4270HVA. As others have said, this machine is incredibly quiet and it is highly efficient in drying (not burning!) the clothes in a very short period of time. The clothes don't have the "burnt" smell of cheaper driers because the sensors automatically modulate the heat and cycle time based on the humidity detected. We are both very pleased with our purchase and with Best Buy service overall. The reason I don't give this machine 5 stars is because it upsets me that I don't have access to all the phone controls (iPhone) and it makes me wonder if LG is discriminating against non-LG Android phone users. Once this is addressed, I will update my rating.

I highly recommend this dryer. I have owned it for 3 months now and it is very good at drying delicates and is pretty quiet for a dryer.

Very easy to use and does a great job. It also looks great, especially with the pedestal.

We researched the devil out of this machine before purchasing. It was a toss up between the smaller capacity and these bad boys. We ended up going with these because we could wash our king size comforter in it without any issues.

Very quite dryer, this is my first dryer and it does the job as mentioned, I am happy with the purchase.

We've had this for two weeks or so, and although it looks pretty, it takes forever to dry the clothes. Also the sensor is lousy. If you put something that is almost dry in to touch it up, it will still run for 50 minutes. I am not sure why I paid for a fancy dryer with a sensor when it doesn't stop the dryer when clothes are dry. I used to have a whirlpool and it would stop when the clothes were dry. I thought that was what this dryer would do and I was wrong. I just called LG to get help and after trying some diagnostic tests, they hung up on me and did not call me back. Disappointed and wondering if I can return this item.

I bought this item on Jun 12, by Aug 12 the dryer is not heating up at all. It just blows cold air. Clothes are not getting dry, I have a year warranty from LG and 5 Years from Best Buy. LG promised to send some one from servicing company and I waited for 2 days for them to call me and let me know they don't have any appointment till a week later and they don't work in weekend. The whole LG experience I am not liking it. My old cheap Maytag dryer worked the whole time I just gave it away and bought this one for wearing wet clothes.

Initial unit was installed with knocking sound. LG replaced once. Next unit has a bad thermostat.. Took 1.5 weeks to get someone to come look, didn't have part, will have to spend another 3-5 days waiting for the part. LG support is very unresponsive and have very few service outfits in our area that can help. Spending time at the laundromat while our dryer sits unrepaired. Honestly I'd be happy to have them haul it away and give us our money back.

I purchased the front loading LG washer and dryer on 5/12/16 and today 6/18/16 my dryer will not power on. Called Best Buy for warranty and have to wait till 6/23/16 to have a repair tech come out. Paid $3k for a washer and dryer to only work for 5 weeks. Then I have to wait 6 days to get it fixed when I bought the extended warranty! This is not acceptable!
