Trust me and do not buy anything from them unless you want to waste hours and hours of your time trying to get help when it inevitably breaks down after a few months. I bought the dryer in April, it started overheating and BURNING linens in October and completely stopped working a few months later. It's February...after 5 months, LG still has not fixed it and Best Buy has been an absolute nightmare when I've asked for help. Neither company backs up their products or cares about their customers.

I clean the lint trap every use. I’ve even changed out the connecting duct from dryer to vent. I’ve spent half as much money trying to fix everything around it for it to still not work. On delicates setting, it does run the full time but the clothes always come out damp and needs more time.

I made a point to tell them I wanted the front loading washer door situated so that it opened in a way the clothes could be taken directly from the washer to the dryer, so the idiots who installed it being too lazy to change the door itself which is not a difficult task switch the sides and they dragged the dryer vent to the opposite side and got extra long hoses also that they didn’t have to take a door off and flip it. so now about six months later, I discovered that the dryer vent hose had become disconnected. No surprise since it’s stretched longer than it supposed to and it’s been blowing lint all over the back wall. If I had to do it again, I would simply have the items delivered, and I would hire someone who actually Cared about the job they did . So now I get to get it fixed. Because I know if I call Best Buy, they’re not gonna stand behind there employees.

I call an appliances repairman out and he states it is a faulty motor, and "Even if you were loading bricks inside this thing it shouldn't give out within a year, I've seen this alot on the newer LG models". I called Best Buy, who deferred me to LG. LG told me it would be $350 flat rate to repair it, but there is currently a "2 to 4 week waitlist". I'm willing to wager the waitlist is due to ongoing faulty LG products. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase, with Best Buy, and with LG. Unless this situation is remedied quickly, I will never be purchasing appliances through Best Buy or purchasing LG appliances ever again.

And after 1 and half year it starter make some noise if i put something big, like comforter. I think I will use it not less than 5 years, but looks like I need to buy new one soon.

Inefficient dryer

But unfortunately both do not do good. After a circle of 54 minutes, the clothes are still wet as if I took them out of the washer. I am now struggling to figure out if I am missing out the tech part on YouTube.

Worst customer service/experience

The manufacturer responded to my email with this link I sent them and told me that they filed a report to address this issue.

Had service call 2 weeks after buying it fixed it for about a week then the banging began again. Another service a week later only to be told have to order parts but it will take awhile since it’s a new model. They won’t be able to fix it for another month. So I guess I still have to go to the laundromat to dry clothes, but my first payment is due 2 weeks before the dryer will be fixed. Don’t recommend.
