It works, but that's about all I can say about this unit. I'm very disappointed that there aren't that many features for cycles, like my previous LG Trom it replaced. It also doesn't have a drum light, which I think is a HUGE fail. The companion washer that I bought a year and a half before doesn't have a drum light, either, but at least it has a greater variety of cycle options. I frequently find myself using the manual cycle settings and I still often have to run the dryer again.

t has 10 different cycle settings on the rotary knob on the control panel. Some of these cycles can be adjusted using the manual controls for Dry Level, Temp and, Drying Time. Some of them like Bedding will not let you adjust the Temp. It will only dry at the Medium level of heat. I like to dry my bedding at High heat. So I have to use the Manual cycle to set the temp to high. This works fine but I think a dryer that costs over $900 should allow me more flexibility. The same limitation seems to be true for these cycles: Towels, Perm-Press and Normal. The user manual clear shows that these limitations were intentional designed into this dryer by LG. I have pretty much stopped using the other cycle settings on the rotary knob. Now I do everything using the manual cycle which allows me to control everything, Dry Level, Temp and, Drying Time. The user manual that came with the dryer and the one I downloaded from LG did not have enough detail for my taste. I did a lot of trial and error testing to figure out how the controls worked. The Installation instructions were fine. I loaded the LG app on my cell phone but I am still trying to figure how to get the status of a dryer load using the app. I was hoping it would notify me when the load was done. I guess I will have to do a lot of trial and error with the app too. You may be wondering if I called the LG help desk. After 45 minutes on the phone the support person decided to send a technician to my home to see if there was something wrong with the dryer. I said OK. After checking it out he assured me that it was work properly. I was very impressed with the tech’s knowledge of dryers. But not happy with the LG design for this dryer. I would not recommend this dryer to a friend because of the high price poor controls.

Very energy efficient as clothes dry faster in less time. Air dry function is very useful for delicate clothes. Best option at price point given the efficiency and built in options.

So far so good. LG quality. We purchased this LG dryer because we had owned another LG front-load dryer for 13 yrs in another house and are happy with its functionality and quality.

I like my gas dryer settings. The only problem I have is finding the right setting for large bulky drying. The item is not always dry when it says it stops. Manual setting works better.

All the cycles I’ve tried have worked very well. Occasionally runs a little longer than displayed time, even though clothes are dry at display time.

Dryer works as described. Clothes take longer to dry then previous Kenmore dryer which lasted 30 years. I am satisfied with this dryer, this is my first LG appliance.

I purchased this dryer as the companion to the LG washing machine. It was easy to figure out how to use and it was on sale.

This is a pretty good dryer. Just know you will probably need a pedestal underneath it.

I'd give this product a higher rating, but the menu display is a tad confusing. I wish they simplified it some, but overall we're very happy with the purchase.

All went smoothly considering the refrigerator wouldn't fit through the door to the kitchen. The delivery guys were great and measured so I could get a new refrigerator ordered. They were very pleasant and helpful.

Good price and quality. But they have not been installed yet due to missing stacker kits. They promised to come back and install.

Loving the dryer so far. Only issue is trying to dry one or two clothing items. It won’t go a full cycle. I can’t figure out why. I needed to dry my nephew’s outfit and it kept shutting off after 10 or 15 minutes

Installers were knowledgeable and very efficent and lead installer Wilbur was fantastic. The installation went without a hitch.

This dryer is great! I went for this one since I don't need all the bells and whistles of higher end models and I was surprised that the sensor dry option works very well!

Hopefully it will last, so we don’t have the trouble to replace like the GE. Seems like parts are hard to find these days
