According to the numerous conversations I have had with LG support (in the one week I've had the dryer), there is a sensor at the bottom of the drum and if anything it perceives as dry touches the sensor, it stops. LG said "the sensors are hit or miss". Their words. We had to turn off energy saver to get it to move at all - what's the point of that? In the time it has taken me to write this review, I have had to get up to restart the dryer 8 times.
