The price is fantastic. A nice upgrade from my old dryer. Just put the clothes in. Choose the setting and hit start. No need to check and recheck to make sure clothes are dry and with the auto sense you’ll never have to worry about them not being dry. Nice and compact compared to many others.

Works great! Easy to use and holds a lot. Now only have to do 3 loads a week instead of a load a day. Stacked the units. Super quiet. Love it!

I paired this dryer with its washing machine and I have been very happy and satisfied with how they have been working. They fit well in my laundry room and look great. Dryer is relatively quite and doesn’t bother anyone in the upstairs bedrooms. Even though it’s gas, I was able to set it up relatively easy.

Bought this dryer as set with the LG Washer with 6Motion Tech (WM3400CW). Dryer runs perfectly, easy to use, quiet, and easy to clean. Was able to teach my 91 year old father how to use with no issue. Dryer has enough features for getting the job done. What I like is being able to dry a large comforter without getting the frustrating non-dry spots. Great dryer for the price.

This is a great dryer. Very quiet and does it's job. The sensor dry sometimes keeps going excessively, but you can always choose one of the other settings to use. I have had no issues with it and is also pretty light should you have to adjust it or lift for any reason.

Installation Issues

We haven’t had the dryer long enough to provide a meaningful review, but I want to talk about the installation. The two delivery men/installers were very careful and polite but they said our gas shutoff valve was too old and they could not install the dryer until it was replaced: fair enough. But once the valve had been replaced Best Buy said the installers could not return for almost three weeks and they could not promise to extend the return period until then, so, being a handy guy, I decided to install the dryer myself (I’ve done this before). That’s when the real frustration set in. The gas hose BB sold me would not fit the dryer which had a 3/8ths MIP fitting, not a 3/8ths flare, so I had to go to the hardware store to buy a flare x FIP adapter. Once the gas line was installed I set to work on the vent only to discover that the cheap hose clamps provided by BB would not sufficiently tighten on the dryer exhaust flange, so back to the hardware store I went. I guess the BB installers are used to this and come prepared with the right parts, but I am pretty annoyed and think BB customers deserve better.

The LG-7.4 Cu ft gas dryer is easy to use. It is relatively quieter than my previous dryer. This LG dryer has the work done as advertised. So far I am very happy with it.

Pleased with our latest LG dryer after a month

After a month of use we are pleased with this dryer. Our prior dryer was also an LG front load and it performed very well for over 10 years with no repairs or maintenance other than we carefully cleared the link screen after every use. This unit operates similarly and is very easy to use via touch screen. We typically use the sensor drying options so as to not over-dry clothes and waste energy or over stress clothing. The settings tend to under-dry a bit, which is preferred. We then use the timed drying at lower temperature levels to dry to desired level. No complaints at all after one month of use.

I bought the set both washer and dryer and they are fantastic. Switched from old top loaders to these front loaders & so far I do not regret it! Fast drying & easy to use. The jingle when it’s done is also great.

Dryer is really efficient! You don't have to wait forever for items to dry and it thoroughly dries larger items like blankets and bedding. Also has good settings for delicate items and it pretty quiet.

The dryer works great. I love all the extra features and the ability to customize the dry times. The only issue I have with this dryer is when you have a large load, like towels or bedding, they are still a little damp if you use the manufacturers setting. For this load, you will need to change the dry time. Other than that the dryer works great and the price is amazing. Very quiet and plays a cute jingle when the dry cycle is completed. Would 100% recommend and would repurchase another LG dryer

This LG replaced our Whirlpool. So far I think this model is very similar in performance in drying, which is good. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is that it doesn't come with a light in the drum. I find if hard to see everything without the light. It's a minor issue.

Would be giving this product 5 stars but since reliability/longevity are a major aspect of what I expect out of a product I'll start with 4 stars because we've only had it for a month. I will say that it is quiet and dries the clothes very fast. The moisture sensor does a very good job of knowing how dry the clothes are. Overall we are very pleased with this purchase.

Fantastic buying experience at Best Buy

The product works very well, and more important was the buying experience, which was fantastic.
I originally went to Home Depot in Point Loma San Diego and was rudely treated by a sales person named Debra. She was very apathetic about her job and could care less if she sold an appliance. I wasn’t about to buy it after my experience. I went to Best Buy and was treated amazingly well. I was sold the same set for the same price but received 24 month 0 percent financing and was available within two days. At Home Depot when I asked about financing she rudely said she doesn’t know anything about that! She also informed me The set wouldn't be available for a month. I had a great experience at Best Buy and would never by an appliance from Home Depot.
