Altbough they said it had all the connections and such, it did not bur the pieces we needed were not pricey at all. Also, Nicor cane out to hook it up for us. Out of box items is my go to now when funds get a little low.

I never thought to look for it as a "special feature". Is it too much to ask when paying $800 for a gas drier? I guess I'll have to have a flash light nearby. Ridiculous.

I appreciate that I can manually adjust the time on the dryer, but it is still difficult to find the right amount of time. The regular sense dry cycle actually seems to release more heat than the manual setting on the lowest heat. Even though the regular cycle takes a long time, clothes are still slightly damp by the end of the cycle . The chime at the end is also fairly annoying and reminds me of the old Rice-a-roni jingle.
