Caught this @ BB as a 'floor demo' @ a similar discount. Was at a location that req'd a 3 hr. r/t, but made for a pleasant road trip. New to front loaders, so times for some items vary, but happy to have Quiet machines for the domicile.

It seems that drying a heavy load such as a mattress topper is bester suited for the manual dry cycle. Overall it is easy to use.

I would give up the remote start feature for a cheap light bulb. Its incredible that something could be sold without it. I guess the engineers don't do laundry at home.

On ultra low, it's still an oven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping that I'd be able to dry delicates or even just avoid cooking my clothes, but even on the ultra low setting, my clothes were so hot it was a fire hazard. This is a brand new set up with brand new tubes/connections, so no, it's not that something is clogged. If I hadn't split this machine purchase with my bf (who now owns only crop tops due to the dryer shrinking everything he owns), I would have returned it immediately. Also there's no ability to dry for less than 20 minutes!!!! Enjoy hang drying all your active wear that would have benefited from just a few minutes (although again, there's no actual low setting so you would have lost all elasticity in them even in that time). So now I'm having to lay my clothes on sweater racks and use a bathroom space heater so I can dry my clothes without shrinking them (or melting polyesters). I guess if you have scrubs or poopy cloth diapers to dry, this machine will definitely sterilize them for you.

Dryer only worked for three year! Caution!

Best buy is giving store credit toward a replacement dryer but I will still have to put money out that I should not have to with the current dryer only being three years old.

Auto sensors don’t work and tend to not bring the

The first dryer never got to temp. The second dryer has gotten to temp but auto sensors don’t work very well.

Immediately, it didn't work, giving error codes d80 and d95. LG customer service said clean your vents. $200 later, we had clean vents, but we still got error codes. Called the vent guys back, they did some more work, created another hole in vent (Our dryer vent goes one floor up). Still wouldn't work. Called LG back, they said we should install a $250 motorize fan to help blow out hot air. And they basically admitted the motor on the dryer was too weak to push the air through the vent. Ok... Also it leaves a scummy residue on the door after use.

Avoid if you don't like to iron

Had a GE which left permapress clothes virtually wrinkle-free and when came time to replace I thought LG was better. I was wrong. But based on lack of features and the problem with wrinkles, I'm tempted to get rid of it and buy a GE.

DEFECTIVE MODEL PURCHASED TWICE!!! BEWARE...

This time I said, ok I will purchase with Best Buy and today was the delivery and the issue is THE SAME, so this is not retailer's fault, this is LG issue. I am stuck with a non-working dryer, the geek squad is available in another WEEK and i've been without a dryer for months. So sad since I have the matching washer and it's amazing, wanted to have the matching dryer. Just get another one, don't get this model, they are defective, save yourself the trouble.
