L G Dryer

We were left to install the dryer ourselves. Was not notified that Geek Squad would not install the dryer vented through bottom of dryer. The 30 year Maytag performed better than the new LG.

Don't by this dryer

From day one every load of clothes that comes out of this dryer right when the buzzer goes off by the way, are very wrinkled. The dryer never cools down. I highly do not recommend anyone by this dryer. Also the chime when the dryer goes off is very low even on the highest setting. If you're anywhere far away from the dryer you will not hear it.

LG Dryer

When your clothes are dry it stops regardless of how much time is left saving money in electric cost and not over drying your clothes.

Love it--it sings!

Dead on arrival

The installation guy assured me this unit takes a while to heat up so I trusted him, in the evening, I put clothes in for drying, one hour later, still no heat. Try again, naohter hour, still no heat. So this is a dead unit. This is very bad experience. Completely lost confidence in LG brand.

Bad lint cleaner design

We have already tried a replacement. Same problem still occurring. The dryer needs a redesign of this part.

Horrible dryer

We have check connection and airway is clear yet the unit continues to cut off and clothes are still wet! Best Buy did not install the new vent with it!

They did not even open the box with the new vent. The second time they claimed the new metal vent would not fit or bend (I demonstrated it would bend round their necks). This is ourtrageous!!

Always stop unexpectedly

Lint spills on floor after every load
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Our 18 year old Whirlpool just died so we replaced with this, since it was the only one that would fit our footprint and could be delivered within 3 days. I had heard good things about LG, but this was a bummer. Things I did not like: 1) no light inside drum. Seems like a minor thing, but it's noticeably missed. 2) the door is lower than our old WP and it's not comfortable to bend down that low to put things in and out. 3) after every load a sprinkling of lint falls out on the floor in front of the dryer requiring me to vacuum after every load. who needs the extra work? 4) Paying almost $850 for a dryer that bummed me out Things I liked: Honestly nothing. I missed my old Whirlpool immensely. Thanks to BB for their 15 day return period we're exchanging for another Whirlpool.

Major buyer’s remorse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My previous washer stopped working, so I bought a new washer AND dryer, so they would match. Well, I regret that entirely. I used to dislike that my low temp drying cycles would take 45-60 minutes. Ha! Now I routinely run the dryer on low for 90 minutes and my clothes are still damp. What’s more, I just re-ran for 32-minute cycle, and the sensors detected that the clothes were dry and the cycle ended in less than 2 minutes. I guarantee they are still damp. This is not the first time. It’s so frustrated to spend this much money for an upgrade only to get downgraded perfomance. Making it worse is that my wash cycles routinely go over 2 hours as well. It takes nearly an entire day to wash a load of cloth diapers between the initial cold wash, the hot wash, and the 90+ minutes in the dyer. It boggles the mind that this is supposed to be considered state-of-the-art. I wish I could just have my old washing machine repaired and go back to using that and the old dryer. I have many better things I could have done with the money I spent on these machines.
