Brand response from LG Digital Customer Care

Hi, Verena. Thank you for reaching out about your LG Dryer (DLEX5800V) model. We understand the importance of having a new dryer operate smoothly from the moment it’s installed. One helpful step is to check that the dryer is fully seated in the outlet and receiving the correct voltage. Electric dryers require a 240V connection, and if one of the two legs of power isn’t supplying voltage, the unit may turn on but won’t run properly. Ensuring the circuit breaker is fully switched on for both poles can also help. For more guidance, visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dryer-why-does-my-dryer-have-no-power--20150485198898. We’d be glad to take a closer look and assist you with getting your dryer up and running. Please send us an email at [email protected] so we can help further. ^Juvy
