This dryer not only looks great, but it is quite intuitive to use; and does an excellent job. I have this unit stacked with its matching washer, and the combo is worth every penny.

Huge tub, great for blankets and other large items, like sheets. Easy to use, turn the dial after cleaning the filter, and for timed cycle, just touch the start button once, and it will show you how much time it's set for. Then push the start button again and it will start. And to save time and work, only clean the filter before starting each load. I bought metal pedestals on Amazon and assembled them myself to save lots of money. Also check your dryer electric outlet. Mine was a 3 straight prong and I needed 3 prong with one of the prongs L shaped, so I had to have an electrician change out my outlet to match the plug. They said if it were a four prong plug, I would have needed a whole new line run, which would cost a thousand dollars.

excellent dryer love the fact that the door can switch to be opened on either side and the dry cycles i dont have to dry more than one time-- the smart features on this dryer are amazing and it reminds you to clean out the lint trap and very easy to use

We recently purchased this washer and dryer set and have been more than pleased with it so far. The dryer works great and we love the AI program which basically takes the guessing out of which setting to put it on for you. The machine is great quality and aesthetically looks amazing in our laundry room. LG is a leader for a reason and we’ve always had great results from our LG washer and dryers in the past, so hopefully this one is no different. The delivery was actually the only issued we had. The installer didn’t properly secure the line to the wall vent or the vent at the rear of the dryer, causing it to fall off when we adjusted the spot where we wanted it. So, I had to get back there, secure, and tighten everything up myself. No issues since. Other than that, the machine is wonderful and quiet. Love the app which sends notification for when the cycle is done or when it’s time to clean the filter. Also, if you have Alexa devices, this thing can even announce over your speakers when your cycle is done as well. Anyway, hope this review helps. Take care.

I think it’s everything I could ever want in a dryer. So many options. If you take a few seconds you can set all the settings this machine has to offer, and it offers a lot! My favorite setting is AI. The clothes come out perfect and dry! Love everything about this unit!

Surprised at the size. I had a previous LG, 7.4 Cu Ft dryer and this actually seems like there is more room. I used it for a king size comforter, and it handled it without having to take out the comforter and move it around to get the inside. Love the features!

Programs are easy to operate, clothes come out dry, soft and preserved. When followed correctly, clothes will maintain their quality for a long time. Take your time learning how to apply the programs to your specific type of clothing.

This dryer is almost as bad as the matching washer. I have to dry everything on high heat for hours to get anything dry. I’ve never had this problem with any other dryer like this before, and yes, I have had several other front loading washers and dryers in the past. It is actually running up my electric bill because I have to run it for so long every time I use it. The current load has been on the highest setting for 2 hours and the clothes still aren’t dry. We have had it just over a year and I plan on selling it and buying something else. So disappointing.

This dryer is a great appliance and works well. It is quiet and dries things well, but the preset settings can be hard to put on Low and so many tech fabrics have to be dried on Low. Overall recommended, but worth noting the challenges to alter the per programmed settings.

We originally bought the paired washer when ours failed. I was less than excited when my wife wanted to replace a 2 year old dryer with this machine. I was wrong. These things are amazing. No more long laundry days when we miss the dryer function complete, no more trying to figure out settings, no more worrying if the ducts are dirty. Seriously, these things talk to each other to match settings from washer to dryer, they talk to our cell phones to let us know to start a new load and the dryer just tolde last week that it had back pressure in the vent. It identified a blockage. It was a small blockage but the clothes dry 20% faster and there's less threat of a fire. I don't think I could have beat the efficiency and effectiveness of these machines.

After reading a ton of descriptions and reviews, and making mistakes in the past of buying other brands, we decided on this LG for our washer/dryer set, and we coyldnt be happier. The design, the features, the reputation…

Great looking washer and dryer! Very easy to use. I could do without the wifi capabilities.

Cleans clothes very well and runs quietly. Delivery was on time, and installation was quick and well done. Very happy with this purchase.
